    1. There will be a tailgate this week. Same bat time, same bat channel.

    2. Our official burger provider now has a patty-maker. Woo hoo, and thanks to Jace.

    3. The sausage menu is diversifying. This week, we will have cheddarwurst donated by Spoon, plus a few other types. At the next official tailgate, there will be fantastic Italian sausage and peppers from this great place in Frontenac, KS.

    4. Who wants to be the side-dish freebie guy/gal this week? Matt, I'll pay you back for last week.

I think Section 8 On Tour (S8OT) is headed your way, you might check to see how many of them are planning on hitting the tailgate.

Bring the deviled eggs. Jace brings potato salad. The side dish gravy train is now closed.

    Opportunity

    From the KC Star:

"The Johnsonville Big Taste Grill will make its way to Arrowhead Stadium for the Wizards' game Saturday against the Chicago Fire. The grill, promoted as the largest touring grill in the world, will be in Soccer Street USA from 3 to 6 p.m. Fans can purchase a Johnsonville brat for $3 before the game."

Sam, the Mystics/you could make a buck or two by simply adding J-ville brats or another brand to the geill and throwing up some well places signage. $2.50 for a grill dog or $5 for the whole menu becomes the decision for people. Easy decision for most=$ in the treasury for the Mystics. As long as the Star is advertising for you, take advantage of it.

A letter to The Star/Bobo Luder might be a good addition to bring revenue/people into the tailgate also.

I'm not sure there is demand for a keg this turn around. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Uh, our tailgate is borderline illegal, not to mention the quantities of underage alcohol consumed on any given weekend. I'd rather keep it just a bit on the downlow.

Yeah, you wouldn't want that kind of thing mentioned in any sort of public forum.

    1. No keg this time around. BYOB.

    2. Good foodstuffs.

    3. Who would be interested in a breakfast theme in the future? Hashbrowns, omelettes, etc. We did it years ago, and it works.

burgers should be awesome tommorow, and we'll be test driving something I've heard about but never had: Bratburgers. Essentially, I just mixed in the bratwurst mix we use to make sausage into a couple of pounds of beef and made patties. My boss kinda looked at me funny as he watched me make them this morning. I will be there at 3:30 or 4, ready to kick the ball around and pop the tops on some high lifes.

    Veggie Option

There will, due to a request, be what should be a really good veggie burger option (I'm trying out a recipe).
