I read somewhere that there are 3,500 enrollees of the Academia Tahuichi Aguilera in Bolivia. Their "Mundialito Paz y Libertad" under-15 championship begins about January 12. Anyone have any idea if the USA is sending a team? Separately, are there any USA players at Tahuichi?
It looks like Saint Benedict's (NJ) will be the only US team involved. The US U-16 team participated a few years ago.
tahuichi 5, st. benedict's 0 what i saw from highlights from this game, the US team was pretty bad. what kind of team is this? a local club team or a select team..any of these players have future in pro soccer? for the most part, tahuichi is the feeder for most of bolivia's junior teams
Did that whacky arrangement Tahuichi had with MLS go away when Logan got canned? IIRC, young MLS players were supposed to go there to train, while MLS got first dibs on certain Tahuichi players. Anybody know what happened to this?
