Chicago Fire vs. NY Morelia vs. Necaxa This Chicago Fire/Barn Burners 1871 event will be a close second to last weekends double header with the United States-Poland match. The Chicago Fire is playing the New York Metrostars and Morelia is playing Necaxa of the MFL in a double header this Saturday, July 17th. The Barn Burners 1871 Taco Tailgate (south parking lot, Waldron Deck, second level) begins at 4:00pm. The Fire-NY match kicks off at 7:00pm; the Morelia-Necaxa game at 9:30pm. We’ll be serving Tacos (beef, chicken), burritos, fajitas, chips, and all the fixings. Members pay only $5 for two servings & two non-premium drinks. And, if aren't a member and would like to become one (and take advantage of all the member discounts and other benefits/goodies), I'm sure that could also be arranged. BUT, the tailgate is open to all, not just members.

The tailgate was indeed really great. The cooks/chefs/preparers/slicers/dicers all did a fantastic job. If you weren't there you missed a really wonderful opportunity. Kudos to one and all. (More folks should take advantage these things. Great food/drink at a price that can't be beat.)
