    1) Tweets have translate functions. Try using them
    2) Ever heard of body language? Just look at his eyes.

A Kurdish fighter makes his will before battle and hands it to his commander.

The commander reads it quickly and notices that he wants American pall-bearers for his funeral.

Asked why, the Kurdish fighter answers, "so the Americans can let me down one last time.":confused:

Aren’t oil tankers from ME to Europe taking the slow route already because of the Houthis?

Also. Egypt is one of the countries that would benefit from the pipelines. Egypt has a pretty large natural gas field off their coast that they haven’t really exploited because they don’t have any customers. They would be able to tie into a NG pipeline through Syria.

From previous experience, twitter’s translate doesn’t work well with Arabic

From current experience, it doesn’t work at all if you don’t have a twitter account.

Translation functions in tweets require me to have x. I don’t anymore.

    Fair enough

The text says "Prisoner from Sednaya. Spread the word about him, maybe his family will recognize him."

As for the video, I don't know what he's saying and it isn't important. His body language is. I've seen a handful of former torture camp prisoners down the years and but none of them were anything like that.

Next up, how can Syria be stabilized? Both Israel and the US under Biden will take steps. Trump's stance will be the big question.

    Edit: I forgot Turkey.

Your original unedited post makes the assumption that I am pro-Assad, or that I am not delighted by the victory of the (Sunni) rebels over his regime. I am wondering what led you to that assumption?

on the subject of tweets please note

    1. many posters now left that platform

    2. banjaxed API means they mostly don’t display.

it would be a good idea to use screenshots.

To destroy all the weapons systems and military installations that were purchased and built for the primary purpose of destroying Israel.

  22. They don't pose a threat to the Egyptian regime.
Of the about 70 million Egyptians the Sinai people are about 1 million and mostly the Bedouin part is rebellious, so more linked to the Jordan people than Egypt. The non-bedouin part is imported from Egypt and not likely to be part of the rebels overthere.
They're not going to overthrow the regime.

  23. You're seriously telling me they control areas like the Syrian factions have done?
When was the last "battle" with them in Egypt?
