That is a pretty strong squad. It is nice to see Henchoz back in the line-up. Liverpool could have used him in the second half of the season. Allez le Suisse!!! Get six points! SwissGCZ, we expect full game analysis and break-down of the games. I am so jelous of you. On a sid note, I am going to a PDL game tonight with my two year old son. It should be a fun time!
Alex Frei has stated that he's really unhappy at Rennes and wants to leave. Rennes is getting a new coach next season, but it's likely that he will want to buy his own new forwards.
CA Dragons are the closest team to us. They play at Bowie St, right between DC and Baltimore. I think there were about 30 people at the game. We have had so much rain recently, that the grass was really long, and there was a very slippery field. The waterlogged ball would do strange things, like skip off the wet grass then stop dead because of the long grass. There was not much flow to the game, with the conditions, we saw two goals (my son could not watch the entire game, he is only 2) one was a very oppourtinustic one by CA and the other was a well struk freek kick from about 25 yards. It went over the 5 man wall and out of reach of the keeper. The keeper got a late jump on it, and the slippery ground did not help, but hey, it was nice. I know that it is a dream but bring Frei back to Servette! I imagine that his lack of playing time would have a lot to do with his frustration at Rennes. I see him going to Germany, or to another French team. How about Colorado? They need a striker now that Zizi Roberts is hurt for a while.
