So far so good. We have to be a bit more dangerous up front and put in a second...

Definitely not... De Zeeuw moved back to wait for the pass while the defender on the right moved further back.

He was a good meter onside when the ball was passed.

Edit: you meant the first goal (?)

    That isn't AZ's number 1 keeper right?

Nope... the normal nr 1 (Joey Didulica) is as shakey as hell, but usually makes at least one miraculous save per match. Last time he did so with his face, which is why he's out now.

ok, well, Coltorti's mis-timed idiot run takes the prize in this game anyway

Yeah, not quite topnotch goalkeeping there.

Bit of a dissapointing match alround actually. But I expect a goalfest at Ajax-Austria Wien that will make the bar-incident of 1989 look pale...

    I'm off. Good luck ;)

That was ********ing pathetic how we gave the game away after the first half.

What the hell was Coltorti thinking!? Stay in the damn goal from now on.

Time to log off and go work something with my fists...

GC often looked like this in the last 10 years in the UEFA Cup...

hope they've more luck in the next few games...

wished they would have played Alkmaar away and not at home

that's why he is still a step behind Zuberbühler. Hope he learns from his mistakes

Basle in the first 30min better than Blackburn - Petric twice close and Eduardo was once caught office, but it wasn't

since Blackburn is the better team, but still 0-0

Blackburn starts with more power in the second half tough

Cristiano on for Rakitic, however Rakitic played well and Cristiano hasn't been seen in the first 10min since the substitution

    Buckley on as well

now chances on both sides. First Cristiano, then Petric with a free kick

then Pedersen and Nonda for Blackburn

    still 0-0

15min to go for Basel. A draw would be fair
