We had in Brasil "dengue fever" for a long time, and I heard nothing in the world press...

Now the whole world is in panic mode due to this "swine flu" -

Any doctors, nurses epidemiologists heree? I would like to hear from you...

I'm no doctor, but you hear about it because it's starting to appear in the United States. And since a lot of people from the United States will travel al lover the world more easily than in Brasil, it can make the country a sort of 'hub' for it.

From what I've read, it is important to get treatment or see the doctor when symptoms come up. In otherwords, don't 'wait it out' on a fever, just go to the doctor. The illness has typical flu-like symptoms (fatigue, fever, etc.).
