    Zizou in the press conference:

"We all trained well, Jesus included. He did well, did not have any complaints. We'll soon see who plays tomorrow. If we have any problems we'll adapt to the situation”.

Sounds like he will be ready to go against Juve

I wouldn't give up on Vallejo yet (although I agree his difficulties this season are worrying).

It's a shame he's struggled so much with injuries this season. He looks so assured whenever he's playing. Has everything to become a world-class CB.

Exactly real calm on the ball and can destroy his direct opponent. If he stays healthy we're good with him and Varane for the future. I'd throw De Ligt with them as well. 3 (potential) worldclass cb's.

Ouch. Not quite. Injury wise maybe but an unfair comparison, he has much more potential and has shown quality.

Woodgate was actually a top CB which injury derailed. I remember how pundits were saying we could have gotten the steal of the decade if he could stay healthy.

    He could not.

Woodgate had also ton of potential. But sadly wrecked by injuries.

Woodgate even showed glimpses of his talent here. He just couldn't stay healthy unfortunately. One of the better readers of the game and an amazing tackler. Was good on the ball too.

I see that as a fair comparison, although we should have known as Woodgate was injured when we got him.

But Vallejo hasn’t yet put in a performances like Woodgates debut. That is the one thing I will remember the guy for.

    Yeah, that debut was tragicomic.

Vallejo has world class potential. There is plenty of time to get over the injuries, just like it was with Varane.

Bet you Vallejo puts in a masterclass performance tomorrow. Going to put Higuain in his pocket

When Vallejo plays, you wouldn't guess he's 21. He's very polished for his age. Just needs to stay healthy.

Really excited to hopefully see Jesus go 90' and kill it tomorrow. All the faith in the world in this kid (just not elite in the air necessarily...)

The guy was captain of his Zaragoza team by the age of 18! Very impressive.

I m sure he is as good as it is being said here.
Still we are playing the most important game of the season with our 4th defender. I hope both Varane and he play their 110%.

    Looks like he's injured again.

Due to 12 muscle injuries, he missed 53 games, for a total of 307 days injured since February 2016. Time to sell him.

Jesus, you got to be kidding me? This kid epitomises “glassman”. Luckily Nacho is the 3rd choice CB, but I agree, time to move him on to a mid-table Spanish club.

Its time to let go. Perhaps his fitness improves in the next few years as he is still so young but Real Madrid isn't the team for him at the time being. He is never, ever healthy. Its actually shocking.

Yup, it's sad but how is the kid ever gonna find rhythm and be trustworthy if he keeps getting injured? We need solid depth at cB as Ramos gets older.

So basically as of today our needs are: 1 CB, 1 CF, 1 WF.

What we have done: Signed backup RB and backup GK.

What we are working night and day on: loaning backup CM and signing new GK.

I agree to some extent actually. The breakdown like that looks bad, and is bad. But on their own these are deals worth doing. Courtois isn’t going to come around at the price every summer. Have to make the deal while we can.

It’s very confusing that we aren’t addressing more key issues too.

It seems like more problems are being created than solved with these moves.

If we loan Kova, we will need another CM in addition to new forwards and a CB.

If Courtois comes, then we will need to loan/sell at least one GK depending on what Keylor wants to do.

Any news on the nature of the injury and on how long he will be out?
