From the Washington Post: In front of their shirtless, painted and howling fan clubs, including the Barra Brava -- loosely translated as "the Crazy Ones" -- United's players erased their four straight losing seasons and raised the championship trophy, returning it to Washington for the first time since 1999. Celebration Time District officials will host a celebration for United on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at RFK. Admission is free; gates will open at 5:30. The team will arrive at Dulles Airport on Monday around 8:45 p.m. . . Hope every Barra Brava Member shows up. and don't forget to wear your BB Jersey.

Yeah, that was just awesome! I almost didnt go because I was just too wiped out from sunday, and still HUNG OVER, but MAN am I SOOOO glad I did. And wouldnt ya know it, as wiped out as I am, I STILL cant sleep. Theres still ONE more thing left to do, and thats tomrrow evening at RFK. After that, I hope I can manage to just relax enough that I can get some real (non-passed-out-from-being-drunk-celebrating) sleep.
We had a really good crowd at Dulles to welcome the boys, and the Cup back. All of them looked like they could use some serious sleep, but were in good spirits. I got to touch the Cup and thanks to Mrs. Revelation, got pic's with Ryan (and the Cup), and Dema (my role model). See ya'll at the party tonight!
Dave, they certainly should need some sleep since Andy and I closed the bar with the team in Barra Brava style. We understand that Ben still has a bar tab going at the pub in Hermosa Beach...... Mark
