On Stockholm on the 26th apparnetly. Can anyone confirm? http://www.aftonbladet.se/sportbladet/fotb...ticle1080653.ab (in Swedish!)
I don't think it really needs to be confirmed. It seems all that is left is some minor details. The Brazilian football federation is positive to have this conmemorative (slaughtering the English language ?) match and Sweden wants to have it as well. It's gonna happen, should be good fun. I'm gonna be parked in the sofa for this one though.
If you are parked on your sofa would you mind doing the DVD/video for me possibly please?! We can talk terms nearer the time.
Sorry mate, unfortunately I can't record on my DVD, don't have VHS. If it means a lot to you then it's just a Ryanair flight away , unless any other Swede can help you out with a copy of the match.
Swedish FA confirm that they will play Turkey away on 6 February . Sweden will play a home match on 26 March but no other info. http://www.svenskfotboll.se/t2llh.aspx?p=345819
London at the Emirates Stadium? http://br.sports.yahoo.com/16122007/25/esportes-brasil-suecia-se-enfrentam-londres-mar.htmlt
That was in Aftonbladet today too. Sounds like part of the issue is experiences finding "suitable" training facilities when Brazil played Ghana in Stockholm in March '07. The odd thing is that this match was supposed to be one part Euro 2008 prep, and one part celebration of Brazil's win in the '58 World Cup. Having that "celebration" match in London doesn't make a lot of sense. In any event, here's the rest of the Swedish national team schedule in the run up to Euro 2008: January 13th- vs. Costa Rica in San Juan January 19th- vs. USA in Carson, CA February 6th- vs. Turkey in Istanbul March 26th- vs. Brazil in London (both opponent and venue have not been officially confirmed) May/June- 2 matches, opponents and locations to be determined
Do not shout me down now.........can I put in an early request for a DVD or video of this game via Swedish TV? Please PM if interested and we can talk terms. Cheers amigos. 26/3/08 at Emirates Stadium, London.
I'll just watch it on whatever channel it's on (GolTV, FSC, one of the ESPN's, etc). If not, I'll just stream it. No biggie for me . P.S. Gotta love TiVo
If it played in England you can tape it yourself, because BBC or some other English network will show it... Just like it was the case with the Australia vs. Denmark friendly.. .
I do not think it will shown here in Inglaterra, friend. Whereas it is guaranteed to be shown in Sverige, hence my plea!
Really, sounds strange that it wouldn't be shown in England. Will it be shown on Brazilian tv ?, no Brazilian pals to record it ?.
I think the problema is that England are playing that night. Fancy a deal - as you are Sverige based?
I already told you, I can't record on the DVD and haven't had VHS for ages. I wouldn't need a deal. If I could record it, I'd be happy do it for you as a favour but I can't.
