Seems like a good thing for him and for the club. He wasn't doing much for the Addicks. Maybe that will open up a spot to pick up someone during the window. That begs the questions -- What players might be available? And what players could Charlton Athletic afford? I don't know the European talent pool very well yet. So who's out there?
The problem is that they are selling him. He's not being loaned out. Curbs must have some deal in his back pocket for another striker. I can't see why he would want to sell strikers when he can't keep them healthy. I don't think Lisbie or Johansson are ready to come back yet and Bartlett is out 'til the spring. I just don't know....
