Im not sure that a change at this point would be the best move.

Eriksson needs to leave , He is getting payed more money than all of the other coaches in the concacaf put together and is doing far worse than them, The Mexican Nt is starting to look like America, all these different coaches but the same results, its time to bring Aguirre back, but im afraid the FMF is going to keep this guy until Mexico is almost out of the WC, we barely made it to this round and now we start off wrong  the best thing to do is to let him go so the next coach can get enough time to adapt with the team

I honestly think, and have always thought, it was a mistake to let Hugo go.

Anyway, Sven is feeling the pressure now.

LO que me empute de Mexico es la falta de oportunidad de gol.

    Pardo was abismal.

I thought Mexico played really ********ing well, they didn't get killed on counters and they sat back and played smart. The best scoring chances for each team was set pieces (and against the run of play) and Mexico came close. He's the best guy for 2010. Aguirre won't be better.

I'm convinced Pavel is done, he is great at dead balls, maybe even for a second half, but he is just too slow and not physical enough for the type of game teams try to employ when something is on the line.

    Leandro is not NT material.

    Torrado is inconsistent.

I think we should begin to groom Zamora, Araujo, Johnathan Dos Santos, Baez.

Because our current four d-mids are not going to get better.

Mexico has always distinguished itself for dominating the midfield and today the speed and strength of the U.S midfield dominated them. I think the current crop is too slow to better complement our two wingers, Gio and Guardado. And forwards Nery, Vela, and Arellano.

If that team had been coached by Hugo "we play better in white" Sanchez

You would have been all over him after this game.

For real... it's amazing how some on this board were very quick to blame EVERYTHING on Hugo but when we lose with this gabacho it suddenly becomes the players' fault.

Stop bowing to the white man

after all the failures of hugo sanchez of course, it would be anti-patriotic not to do so

but sven had the team for the first time for at least 5 days and the team played well

la strategia a mi me gusto

I dont know how that makes me hipocrita

now if sven's team doesnt get results y no gana la copa oro then I will critcize sven

you guyz should stop jumping on sven just because he is white or not mexican.

he hasnt had the team long enough to fail for christ sake

let him finish one tournament and fail so u can jump on him

Because la copa oro is such a reputable tournament.

I'm not jumping on him because he is white.. I'm jumping on him because the NT played like pure sh*t... blasting the ball up the field and looking unable to complete one damned pass.

But I think many in Mexico don't jump on Sven because he is white.

the copa oro is our regional competition and we should be winning it. and to top it off it gives u a berth into the confed cup. hugo sanchez losing the gold cup was a double fail.

the strategy to me was good. they kept giving the ball to the nads so they could not bunker. they were forced to attack because our team kept giving them the ball via balonazo.

the strategy was to prevent the US from bunkering and counterattack

    You're right. I'm sorry.

    The "strategy" worked beautifully.

well it did for a time.

but then our players facked up

nery's injury brought down our counterattack capability and brought down our teams morale.

I do fault sven for not handling those situations correctly, or if there was a correct way to solve them. he didnt find the solution obviously
