Hansen is the player I want most to re-sign with Ajax for his development. Kid just oozes potential at the ST role. I think his ceiling is much higher than Brobbey's.

Unless Onana leaves Ajax, I dont see any logic as to why they have to accommodate stekelenberg. What about scherpen. He has already wasted one whole season and needs to start playing rather than siting on the bench and wasting another season. Im suprised how scherpen has not flourished even with van der sar around. He would have been better off at Emmen.atleast he would have been playing.

I think Onana will be sold soon, and that makes Stek a good fit. Even if he doesnt start every game he can be a good mentor to younger keepers

Besides I really would like to see scherpen start playing. Him and bijlow are the future for NT.

Watched cillessen vs Madrid. He is nothing special but just a good keeper for his experience.

 

vdSar is a front office guy now, so Stek is better suited working with young keepers on the field.

Scherpen will get his playing time for sure. I think Stek will be backup since he only signed for 1 year anyways
