Apparently there will be a tournament in Suriname from June 1st - 7th called Suriprof involving French Guiana, Suriname, Grenada, Trinidad, and a team from Holland. Thats 5 teams so I'm not sure how that would work but this is the first I've heard of it. Also apparently French Guiana will be calling some of their "big guns" playing in Europe. http://translate.google.com/transla...-04-2009-24384.php&sl=fr&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
I just realized Trinidad has a WCQ against Costa Rica on June 6th so that wouldn't really make sense.
Unfortunately I cannot edit after 2 hours so I have to keep making new posts, but I just found that Suriprofs means the Surinamese players who play for the Dutch national team. Suriname, the winner of the Belgian league, the Suriprofs, and an Ajax XI will compete in a tournament in May and I assume the Suriprofs are the team from Holland that will play in this tournament in June. I believe Seedorf has played for this team as well as his brothers and cousin and Hasselbaink's brother as well. If a mod (I doubt any are around ) could combine these posts that would be nice
Antilles Sport now reporting Barbados instead of T&T I've now heard French Guiana, Suriname, Suriprofs, Grenada, Barbados (Antilles Sport) French Guiana, Suriname, Suriprofs, Grenada, T&T (FranceGuyane.fr) French Guiana, Suriname, Suriprofs, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados (French Guiana's site a month and a half ago)

Apparently Netherlands Antilles and Aruba are trying to do the same thing as the Suriprofs with their diaspora http://translate.google.com/transla...v=/search?q=%22Dutch+Caribbean+Stars%22&hl=en This team may or may not be playing in the Chippie Polar Cup from June 1st - 8th (last year Suriname, Netherlands Antilles and a couple of other teams were in it, though no matches were FIFA official) which is oddly the same dates as the Suriprof tournament. Maybe this is the Dutch team they were talking about. Meanwhile, today Suriname played another match and then went home HFC Haarlem 3 - 3 Suriname http://translate.google.com/transla...gen_Surinaams_team&sl=nl&tl=en&hl=en&ie=UTF-8 I guess this really wasn't a tournament, only 2 matches, and each match was only 45 minutes long.
The teams will be Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana, Suriname/Suriprofs combo, and French Guiana.
