The math is simple: Due to advantage with Tie Breakers (Most Wins), "SS" FC only need to win just 1 of the final 2 games, or tie both of them, to capture the SS for the first time in Club History, after coming close in 2009 (2 points off) and 2011 (4 points off), respectively. How do you think it will end? SSFC to capture the SS on Oct-19 @ L.A., with a win SSFC to capture the SS on Oct-25 @ Seattle, with a win SSFC to capture the SS on Oct-25 @ Seattle, after tying both games LAG to capture the SS on Oct-25 @ L.A., by taking 4 points (or more) off SSFC over 2 games Other Outcome(s) - Please indicate (e.g. SSFC to win both games, etc). Let's vote...
Personally, would like to see: The SS to be decided on the Final Weekend of the season (to keep the excitements going, obviously). The SS to be engraved with the name of New Winners (to keep the parity/diversity going, of course). The SS Race ended with both teams level on points (for the only 4th time, after 2000, 2001 & 2004).

Seattle's 61 goals scored pales next to LA's 67. Meanwhile, LA has allowed the fewest goals of any team in the league (33) while Seattle has allowed the most of any team in the playoffs (48, same as Philly and Chicago and almost as many as San Jose.) LA has a championship defense AND offense. Seattle's parity-grade D will be shredded. Realistically, I expect LA to score 3 or 4 goals for every one clawed back by Seattle, in both matches. And again in the playoffs if Seattle makes it that far.

That was a good game Sunday night, too bad it went so downhill for LA at the end. I think sSeattle will win or tie next week, although I hope Keane plays better and LA pulls it out.

By the way, "SS"FC have now set a new record among fellow SS Winners: The only Winning Team with the 10 Regulation Losses to-date. http://m.mlssoccer.com/news/article...st-ever-mls-supporters-shield-victory-over-la The previous record was 9 Regulation Losses, held by: 1996 Tampa Bay Mutiny (32 games season), 2002 L.A. Galaxy (28 games), and 2013 N.Y. Red Bulls (34 games). Of course, if Shootout Losses are counted, '96 TBM are still the record holders with 12 "Losses".
