Is this what we're gonna call it? I figure with this thread, we could get numerous suggestions for the name of the section, then in a later thread (or in this one) we can vote on it. If I'm stepping on anybody's toes, I apologize, I just thought it would be fun to get some input. I'd like to emphasize that I'm not wanting to name a club, just the section - a section that will be open to all Rapids fans. So to begin, I was thinking maybe The Embankment The Riverbank The Chute Okay, okay. It's a cheesy start but these were just basic examples, I know we can get better ones. Again, if I'm steppin' on toes, sorry.

Less than a dozen people on this board have either purchased or plan to get season tickets to 127, and we're worried about a name? Here's an idea. Let's wait until there is a big enough group of regulars in the section and figure out a bloody name then.
I think a name is the best place to start.. You have to have something to recruit people to and having a name is obviously needed in that.

Ya know, come to think of it, maybe it's cause you don't have a name that nobody wants to sit in your stupid section. But seriously, dude, you got to chill with the animosity. Here's the solution to getting more people in the section. Work it out with a few players ahead of time that they try to run over after scoring a goal or at the start and end of the matches. You'll have all the kids moving in there to get a closer glimps of the players. They'll be there each and every match. Now I understand the kids aren't the most ideal, but it is more people moving into the area and as they grow older.......well we all know how the story goes. Pavlov anyone? As for a name. How about the Big Kahuna section. Or some other Snake River section name.
"MY" section? Pardon me for trying to keep people focused on primary purpose of section 127. So let's see, maybe 1 out of 10 of my posts are critical or negative and I "need to chill." Typical BigSoccer tripe.
Dude, the famous drop "rapid" on the Snake River is the "Lunch Counter"... That would be cool... It's where you go to get "served"
The Hole (In rafting terms, it's where water flowing over a rock or other obstacle flows down, then back onto itself in an eruption of whitewater. One of the most dangerous aspects of rafting, and probably, after beer, the leading cause of accidents on the river.)
