The Crusaders Supporters Club is calling on all rabid fans to converge on Section 139 at RFK Stadium this season to cheer the Washington Freedom on to the 2003 WUSA championship! Section 139 stands (not sits) and cheers for the Freedom from opening kickoff until final whistle with songs, chants, drums, flag-waving and jumping. If you want to get away from the little kids screaming 'MIAAAA' and doing everything but watching the game, 139 is the place! Ticket prices in 139 have been slashed dramatically, it is now the LOW LOW PRICE OF $99 FOR A SEASON TICKET!!! Contact the Freedom office at 202-547-8351 to purchase packages in 139 or try to switch locations if you already have tickets for 2003. Single-game sales (both advance and day-of-game) details are still being worked out. Although Crusaders SC initiated 139 as a supporters section, you do not need to be a club member to purchase tickets there, it is a section for ALL fans who care more about what happens on the field than getting autographs or a t-shirt thrown into the stands by a guy in a dingo costume. Bring your voices, banners, and anything else to VOCALLY and VISIBLY spur Freedom on in 2003! The Crusaders also hold tailgate parties before all home games, organize viewing parties and roadtrips (these are the best) for away games and help arrange discounts for Crusader events held at local restaurants. Crusader memberships cost $15 for individuals ($12 for students, special family rates) and are valid through March 2004. Membership gets you six issues of our fanzine 'By The Sword', discounts on club events and at local businesses, Crusaders pin, use of tailgate grill/coolers, and more.
