Mitchell says we took: #6 – Billy Chiles, GK, Towson #20 – Cory Elenio, M, Evansville #34 – Lukasz Tumicz, F, Rhode Island #38 – Zola Short, F/D, Virginia
Also from Mitchell's Dispatch Blog- I would guess we passed on him, judging by Sigi's comments. If nothing else, the bolded portion is evidence of the groupthink Bill Archer likes to talk about.

The following comments from the N&A Supp Draft thread somehow make me feel better about the Crew's draft:
The funniest post I've ever read. (see #4) https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?p=13719318#post13719318
Yeah, that's my post and what the f**k is so funny about it? I stand by 100% what I said. I think if Xavier Balc was a great player he would've been chosen in the first 4 rounds. I didn't ask you to mock any of my posts so with all respect, fuck off.
It's funny because we have about 425 posts dissecting the process by which players are assessed before the draft, and you played right into that. None of that is as funny as the complete arse you've made of yourself by coming over here and being a tit. Thanks for the laugh.
Oh quit whining. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because you support the best side in the Landsbankadeild, however.
Damn, you really could have shown a little more class. Honestly, I didn't think your post was anything to mock...I mean, it's no less unworthy than 95% of the crap on these boards. Now what is funny, is your quote. Poor African children are dying of Aids because you haven't given me enough rep! YES!!!!
That's why I did it. I'll admit I didn't think it would be that funny, that maybe there was someone up there who's actually paying attention and knows what the deal is. Clearly there isn't - just a bunch of oblivious clowns. Toronto fan: "Gee, I don't know my ass from a hole in the ground, and don't know one player from another, but I'm sure that if you get drafted high then you're clearly great and if you don't then you're not. It's simply not possible that there are some factors I don't know about here. And my Mom says I'm very smart" Priceless. Unfortunately for them, I'm betting the kid never pulls on a Toronto shirt. Just a hunch. (Would someone help out the guy who didn't understand the "skipped his next pick" line though? That seemed so obvious that apparently one needs to speak fluent Retard to communicate with them. Thanks.)
Ladies and gentlemen, 600 of these are descending on our fair city for the first game of the season. Please, if you care about the Crew, Columbus, or common sense, come out and support your Crew, so we don't have to hear these blowhards ask where the blue line is and why no one is getting sent to the sin bin.
I wonder if *any* of these picks will be on an opening day roster--at least for the team that drafted them. Still, it's probably a cheap way to pick up a third GK (a healthy percentage of the picks were goalies) that will probably play for the reserve team.
Typically, we can look for a mention of the guy's release during the preseason. Should he actually make the team, we won't hear anything about it until we see a jersey in the November Obetz sale and think "Who the frick was that guy?" I see a list was actually released, so i'm somewhat surprised.
With the way things are sometimes run around here, i'd half expect the name Franklin Pierce to be put on the scoreboard.
