it proves what we been talking about for the last 5 years, the caliber of the league just keeps going up, no surprise none of the three big clubs one on week 11, just check the results of the big 3 FC Porto -0-Boavista -1 Benfica -3-Rio Ave -3 Beira-Mar -2-Sporting-2 the top 2 games played at home,
I totally agree Frank. All you have to do is look at th youth systems in Boavista, Braga, and Beleneses to see that in about 10 years 5 or 6 teams will have a chance to win the Superliga
3 points outta first for the "Arsenalistas" after two bad losses and the top teams in trouble we hang in there. Let's (and by let's I mean me) hope the trend continues
you could be right, but Porto had 90 other minutes to put the game away, they just let Boavista hang, and that's what happen
Unfortunately the balance in the standings is nothing more than aparent and it will have no long term effect. The Superliga IS and will CONTINUE TO BE a 3 horse race (at the most) for quite a long time. Why? Because our football is a reflex of our country: small, mediocre, uneducated and unbalanced.
don't bet on it, that's what we use to say about Spain 20 years ago, also a 3 team league at the time
so far in Week 12 A lost by one of the big three Leiria-1-Benfica -0 still to play Setubal vs Porto Sporting will have no problem with Moreirense
its happening again Sporting -0-Braga-0 Belenenses--4-Benfica -1 Maritimo vs Porto will be on the 22 th of Dec a very difficult place for Porto to win
