Season ticket holders - contact your ticket reps! (I'll be putting a form together for mine here by noon). Your pre-sale is today and tomorrow.

Non-season ticket holders - tickets go on sale on Thursday! Or if you can't wait, call now and become a season ticket holder.

Note that this is only for the Chivas game on the 24th and the Pachuca game on the 28th. The game on the 31st is still only through a season ticket package.

For non-season ticket holders, the only way to get tickets to the games on the 24th and 28th is to buy a two-pack. Chivas 7-24 and Chivas USA on 7-4. Pachuca on 7-28 and Chicago(Blanco) on 9-20. Pricing will be forthcoming, but it will probably be day of game for the SuperLiga game plus a group rate for the MLS game.

Pricing for season ticket holders only:

    Endline - $20
    Sideline East - $30
Sideline West and Midfield East - $40
    Midfield Club West - $50
    Loge - $100
    Field - $125

I'll be emailing my season ticket holders the form I mentioned above. If you're one of my season ticket holders and don't get it by noon today, please call me at 214 705 6748.

Or, if you want to become a season ticket holder, you can reach me at that number as well.

There is nothing more fun than finding out about a pre-sale when it practically is over. So much for giving us a heads up about what was going down.

    Since it appears:

    1. Pricing for season ticket holders is the same before and after the presale

    2. Non-season ticket holders cannot buy tickets to individual supperliga games and are being forced to buy a package that includes several MLS games (and therefore are less likely to buy)

    3. There are less than 10k season ticket holders.

    4. All the games will be broadcast over the air on free tv.

What is the incentive for season ticket holders to buy in the next couple of days? It seems like it makes more sense to see what other offers the FO comes up with when their pre-sale doesn't meet their projections.

ps. where is the loge? Are those the outside seats that are on each side of the suites?

Sorry about the timing - I let you guys know as soon as I knew. FWIW, a 48 hour window is larger than what STHs have gotten for the US games, etc.

Incentive for STH to buy? The ones that want to get their seats, all the reason in the world.

The ones that want the better seats? First crack.

Considering that there will be a high demand for this game, I'll be surprised if we don't do some good business with the two-packs for the other games. Sell the place out? Probably not. But FC Dallas fans that wait will be behind the Chivas and Pachuca fans that don't.

Loge - those are the seats in the Verizon Wireless Club.

Kevin, you need to answer your phone. :D

The only silly thing is that we'll know when tickets are getting close to selling out, and if they aren't close to selling out as we get near the game you'll surely be able to find individual tickets so there's no motivation to buy them early unless you want a specific seat, because there's not a bad seat in the place.

For most of our season ticket holders, not really. Seat location is an important part of their enjoyment of the game - sitting with the people they usually sit with, etc. And I would be surprised to see a lot of the premium seating (MCW, 108, 104, etc.) still be available in a few weeks.

BTW, did you call the cell? If you did, try again.

I think my favorite part about FCD selling groups of matches attached to one that people want is getting to watch a match on tv with nobody there because they were forced to buy tickets that they didn't want. Brilliant, both matches that non-STH's would be forced to buy are midweek.

Thanks for confirming. There is no incentive to buy today or tomorrow.

Just an FYI: The back-row far-west corner seat under the northwest corner canopy(?) is a bad seat. Not only is the railing just high enough to block the view of a lot of the field if you're 6' tall, but the support beams for the roof over the stage block the jumbotron in the northeast corner. If you're under 6', you will be looking through the railing at everything from the north goal box south. However, as soon as remove or lower that railing, someone will fall over it. If you buy that ticket as I did once, you will have no choice but to stand for the match. Half the battle. ;)

For someone wanting to sit at the top of 129, no, probably not.

But for most of the people who have seats in sections 104-108, there sure is.
