I just took a look at the list, and Dallas has eight picks (if I counted right). For a team that is already pretty deep, that is a lot. They have #4, #12 and #15 overall. It's also scary that the MLS Cup champion LA Galaxy have two first round picks (#8 and #10). http://mlsnet.com/content/02/mls1030draft.html
Not only that, but they have last year's #1, Gbandi, coming in. They seemed to pick up a lot of players last year, plus they have a previous "youth movement" of Vaca, Johnson, and Countess.
Ideas, sure, but until we know the pool of participants it's just idle speculation ... but then agian, this is BigSoccer, so what the heck. 1. DC United - Oguchi Onyewu - RB Clemson. (wild speculation that his contract with French club Metz falls through and he'll sign with the league, but if he does, he'll probably go first) 2. Metros - Alecko Eskandarian - F Virginia. 3. KC Wizards - David Stokes - CD North Carolina. 4. Dallas Burn - Diegow Walsh - AM SMU. 5. Metros - Knox Cameron - F Michigan. 6. San Jose Quakes - Ricky Lewis - LB/RB Clemson. 7. Columbus Crew - Ricardo Clark - Dmid Furman. 8. LA Galaxy - Guillermo "Memo" Gonzalez - AM U-17's. 9. NE Revolution - Nate Jaqua - F Portland. 10. LA Galaxy - CJ Klaas - RB Washington. Pure and utter speculation, but hey, if any of these guys enter the SuperDraft they'll be taken in the top round or two most likely, so it's not that bad. -Tron
