You had to wonder how much longer he would be there.

    This weekends matches:
    October 1
    19:30 St. Gallen - Aarau
    October 2
    14:30 Neuchatel Xamax - Schaffhausen
    16:00 Basel - Thun
16:00 Young Boys Bern - Yverdon
    16:15 Grasshoppers - Zurich

Each match has obvious importance but the Basel - Thun match and the GCZ - FCZ matches stick out. Xamax will have their first match under their new manager. Yverdon will try to take advantage of YB without some of its injured players. FCSG will try and defeat an in-form Aarau.

    Round 11

    St. Gallen - Aarau 2:1 (2:1)
    5. Marazzi 1:0. 8. Bieli 1:1. 12. Alex 2:1.

    Neuchâtel Xamax - Schaffhausen 1:0 (0:0)
    70. Mangane 1:0.

    Basel - Thun 5:1 (1:0)
    37. David Degen 1:0. 60. Petric 2:0. 64. Petric 3:0. 78. Petric 4:0. 85. Sen 4:1. 87. Papa Malik Ba 5:1.

    Young Boys - Yverdon 2:2 (1:1)
    1. (0:19) Raimondi 1:0. 30. Aguirre 1:1. 70. Biscotte 1:2. 85. Raimondi 2:2.

    Grasshopper-Club - FC Zürich 1:0 (0:0)
    89. Dos Santos 1:0.

Finally a derby victory! Coltorti and Leoni's blunder made it possible... :D

It seems the full schedule is starting to drain the very thin Thun roster. Good thing for them the national team break is coming up. Yverdon continues to annoy bigger sides and Xamax finally managed a victory.

Talking about Petric, could he play for Switzerland or not?

It's sad really, in the end the Croatian FA pursued him with more determination. If the SFV officials would have gotten off their ass at the time, he probably would have played for us instead (I'm quite sure he even said so himself.)

    Mies, SWITZERLAND!
Yes, I agree with you: It is sad but not the first time it hapened:
Roberto Di Matteo and Oliver Neuville could have both played with Switzerland.

Thank god we haven't lost Senderos, Vonlanthen and Barnetta!! (and probably Behrami :) )

I think the U17 WC success in 2002 was the wake-up call the SFV needed

    - YB not looking like a contender with these results.
    - Hopp GC! :D
    - FCZ getting stomped at home, it seems they re-discovered their traditional ways.

    Highlights later...

Terrible showing from Thun. Lets hope that they can turn it around before the Ajax match.

    Xamax wins which hurts Yverdon.

GCZ - YB / Flare Smuggling

    Weibliche Fans schmuggeln Feuerwerk

Quick translation: some female YB supporters wrapped flares in condoms and inserted them into their vagina to pass security.
