When I logged onto the official site a little while ago, the pop-up ad for the Freddy 4-Pack touted the April 24 match vs. Chicago as Freddy Bobblehead night. They had a dreamy picture and everything. ;) I can't seem to find a direct link, though.

Anyways, just thought you bobblehead-heads out there would want to know.

This is good news. My Eddie Pope bobblehead is lonely.

Wow! My Eddie bobblehead is the only thing stopping Jacqui Little, Skylar Little and Siri Mullinix bobbleheads from seriously hurting my Bobby Convey bobblehead!

Don't worry, just because Eddie left town over a year ago doesn't mean you can't buy an Eddie Pope dog tag to keep it company:

He's definately not 14 on that bobblehead. :) That's the picture the other thread was about that was in the Post. I like how they list EXCELLENCE, EXCITEMENT, PASSION, INTENSITY, AND sweat. Sweat?

Anyone else notice that bobblehead has a striking resemblance to Edson Buddle?

Exactly which finger is our Freddy bobble-head holding up? Is this the one that's being given away to our opponents' fans? ;)

Okay, so how do I get one? IE, how many are given away, what time does the stadium open, who gets them, etc.? Also, how do I hire whoever sculpted it? The resemblence is uncanny!

qwasmp, in the flesh...try reading the web site. And then after starting another thread on match fixing and Freddy Scoring, get back to us.

First, I want to apologize, I know without me to make fun of, life in your parents' basement must be really boring. Second, DCU just edited the popup today to say there would be 5000 bobbles. Third (sorry to use such a high number bryan, pm me if you dont understand), when can you get into the stadium?

So does anyone know if season ticket holders still get guaranteed giveaway items, and if so, does that include the Freddy bobblehead?

From what I've heard from DCU: Season ticket holders can check in at the Customer Service window but you're not guaranteed one there either (they will hold some there).

If you REALLY want one get your ass inside early.

They'll have to get in line behind me. From now on, all my posts are coming from my camping site outside RFK stadium on my laptop computer. I'm going to be the first to get one!!

And there's no re-entry right? So to get one of these (and watch the game), I have to stay at RFK from 8AM-5PM? I mean, Im sure it'll be fun but unfortunately I've got some other things to do.

How about this: anyone who has been to a DCU giveaway before, will they give you the bobble as you go in or will they give you a ticket and you have to stay all day to redeem it? At least that way I could buy a crappy ticket for the giveaway and then re-enter with a different ticket for the game.

Well, I don't think I REALLY want one as bad as, say, THamlin, but it would be cool to breeze up to the Customer Service window to pick up my guaranteed bobblehead...

Maybe it'll be easiest just to steal one from the first kid I see walking around with one.

    :D

  25. I think he only has one ball.
