Another great round with the tie between Hurricanes - Blues. It doesn't do either of them any good, but in itself it was a great match to watch. Rupeni looked impressive again. In the first half, one of the tries the Hurricanes scored on an interception wasn't really Rupeni's fault. But it was impressive to see him sprinting as a defender and tackle the guy (although in the end-zone!). Not sure why the Hurricanes use Weepu coming off of the bench and not as a starter. In whatever little Hurricanes I've watched this year, he seems to make some difference when he's involved. Not saying he was the only one responsible for earning the tie for the Hurricanes, but he's sure a busy guy.

The other match Crusaders - Highlanders was very tight into the middle of the second half, but blew wide open afterwards. Very good dose of football overall, though.

How about Mapusua for the Highlanders? Even though they didn't win, they got the bonus points for all those tries. Great match, all in all.

I haven't had a chance to post on this thread lately since the MLS season began. The Chiefs vs Brumbies LIVE match is coming up in 2 hours. Brumbies are at the top of the table, so hopefully it should be good football.

Sharks vs Stormers tomorrow night (tape delayed) 11 PM Pacific.
