    Bars to count on

What bars will definately be showing the match (US v Mexico)? Especially those in the north/halsted area.

    Thanks

Pretty much anywhere that has ESPN2 I'm sure there wouldn't be a problem.

If the Dish isn't installed yet then a few of us are planning on going to the Shammy on Diversey and Halsted since it's like a block away.

" The Fire's next league opponent, San Jose, has two players on the Mexican roster, Landon Donovan and Richard Mulrooney. .... The Fire (1-0-2) and Earthquakes (3-0-1) are the only two unbeaten teams in MLS. The 'Quakes are 28-2-2 since 2001."

Why don't you boys go hang out in Pilsen? That would be fun wouldn't it?

I wasnt marveling at the record as much as those two obvious errors. But we all know what they mean.

"Chris Armas, the Fire captain, also returns to national-team duty Thursday. He started 44 of 46 matches for the United States before suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee against Uruguay in World Cup qualifying last May 12."

    when did uruguay join concacaf????

They let all the fact checkers go so they could have enough money to pick up Beetle Bailey in the comics section. :) Actually, I think that only 11 people actually work for the Times these days. Seems that most of the paper is just AP/Reuters wire copy and the best of the right-wing columnists out there.

Yeah, real fun. I even can think of a couple good places where we might not get glassed, maybe only bruided slightly.

Plus it's a heck of a lot further away.
