Overconfidence was Goliaths downfall but at 9 feet tall its hard not to be confident. At Highbury and given the current form of both teams Id have to say 3-0.

No disrespect intended but 7-0 to a 3rd division team and 1-0 to an awful Villa squad. Defeats of 3-0 to Boro, 3-0 to Fulham and 2-0 to Newcastle should also be mentioned.

yes we arent too hot but recent form infers recent games not earlier games in the season. Dont get me wrong, I will be hoping at best to get a draw because Arsenal are the best team in Europe IMO at the moment. We are having a bit of turmoil with the manager, but think we may have turned a corner and if we can pluck out a draw their confidence will be sky high and coming on the back of morale boosting wins you never know.

If Arsenal scores early (as they have usually against Sunderland) you can forget even a draw. Once Arsenal forces Sunderland to attack, it's "Katie, Bar the Door"

yep i fear you may be right, sunderland have a habit of conceding early goals notjust against Arsenal but against most teams they have played this season! but the bolton result sorry performance a couple of weeks ago gives us some hope, we are at least as good as them.

Let's give this guy some credit. I think he's the first opposition supporter this year to come in here to start a thread without trying to troll, and just wanting to talk about a good game of football.

    Well played, sir.

    Looking forward to this one

If only because I'll get to see Reyna line up against my beloved Arsenal.

To the Sunderland supporter, how is his form right now, I've only ever seen him line up for the US on International Duty never in club play.

Is this match going to be live on FSW? Probably not huh.

According to the Dark Horse website - the match is being televised at 2PM ET on Sunday on FSW.

It's live on FSW Canada (as is Chelsea v. Liverpool immediately following) but tape delayed on FSW.

Gotta love FSW Canada! 9am is early for a Sunday but watching the Gunners makes it all worthwhile!

    Go Gunners!

I'm hoping that Claudio Reyna has his worst ever match in a Sunderland kit! Capped off with an own goal hat trick!

    No so fast...

I don't mean to be an alarmist, but those losses combined with those "wins" could mean that they're due. Combine that with our "Kiss of Death" Double (Mgr. and Player of the month), I'm a bit concerned. Not to mention TH14's hammie.

    Call me a concernist ;)

Oh that's awesome, that must have been the same thing for the Chelsea - Arsenal Derby, -- first match I've been too at Nevada Smiths--, it kept cutting out and there was an ad for some wierd Indian explorer that was important in Canadian History(if that isn't a contradiciton of terms!);)

Guess I'll be dragging my ass over there for the early start.
