Sacked... and they expect to have the new manager in charge on saturday.

    What a load of bollocks.

Our must must must win game of the season and we now have to go against the footballing Gods in order to do it. In case you don't know the 5th commandment of football is "If thou team is struggling and thy manager is sacked then thou team shall win three to nothing when thy new manager is appointed" (Ron 15:12)

The Premiership was good while it lasted :(

Thou knowest how to cheerest one up. Verily, I clutchest my recently-purchasesteth ticket to my bosom and thou fillst me with despondence. Oh, what a treat to pay my money to princely income for to watch Kevin Phillips cupping his ear at me.
Still,we can't give up Prenn even if it seems as if the bookies have.
    Applecarts need upsetting.

Indeed, an should Salva find his shooting boots then I'm sure we'll give Mick McCarthy his very first defeat in charge of Sunderland :D

That's the spirit. I shall set off with renewed optimism that the script has not finally been written. Can't be sure though.......

don't act so surprised. everyone (surely) knows that sunderland are exempt from ordinary footballing sod's law, and have their own laws and rules instead.

    So it appears.

It's a shame really, I knew at the end of last season that Sunderland would free fall but I actually wish you'd stay up with us. You're a club like ourselves (okay you have 150% the fan base but so what ;) ). McCarthy is a great manager and I'm sure you'll storm the first division next season! Good luck.

Sadly then I had to forfeit the pleasure of Kevin cupping his ear again.
What a performance though. Hard to pick people iout on a day like this. Laville, Bergsson, Mendy, Okocha and Frandsen were stand-outs for me. Only quibble was that Ricardo is a bit reckless at left-back but what the hell. Tottenham game is now a massive one especially on a Monday night after we may be back (temporarily) in the bottom 3.
If us and West Ham keep playing like this then surely Brum and Leeds are not safe.

I looked at the Premiership table this evening and had this sudden glimpse of the future

    Bolton
    West Ham
    ----------
    Leeds
    West Brom
    Sunderland

Please god let it come true :D

The Spurs game is vital but I doubt they'll be as generous as they were against West Ham. Our biggest game of the season is definitely the West Ham game, win that and we could just send them down!

Great performance all round today, looks like we're starting to find our shooting boots. It is, however, slightly disturbing that Pedersen is outscoring Ballesta...

Oh Prenn. So optimistic and them in the last sentence still trying to find a dark side. Of course I know where you are coming from supporting the Supawhites because we are so used to disappointments but surely it is inconceiveable with Jay-Jay playing as he is. I don't think there has ever been such a skilful player at Bolton although relatives still rave about Freddie Hill. What a game the West Ham one promises to be though. Six-pointer is'nt doing it justice.
Anyway, let's hope your dreams come true.

I want to know what's deal with Ballesta? He's getting a bit of a slating on the bwfc.co.uk message board. Apparently he's looking uninterested, I hope he's not here for the ride.
