My favorite quote from that article: Welcome to several years ago. But are clubs now able to sign more than three marquee players? Does this tie in with the Donovan selling his house reports? Is this why Becks was so upset yesterday? So many questions.
Sounds like Landycakes to Everton and Lampard to LA. Beckham probably was mad about a lot of things: friend leaving, being left off Olympic squad, and playing in a VERY frustrating game (from his standpoint of course).

That's completely outrageous. Not that I'm telling you anything you don't already know, but that FO just doesn't have a clue about customer service.
What grade do you give the Sounders for the first half of the MLS season? The Seattle Times Frank Lampard is once again being linked to MLS We Ain't Got No History
I agree. As much as I love MLS, and attempt to support the local MLS club, it's this kind of thing that would keep me from going to games. I respect their right to have the ever subjective "clean atmosphere", but, it's also a sporting event, and is a little over board. You should be warned. These kinds of things , coupled with aggressive security can drive people away from your stadium.
Of course we're still only getting one side of the story. I don't really have a problem with them keeping a file of past incidents and who was involved, that's pretty straight forward, but they need to make it clear that they're dong that and that a fan that's a constant problem may get their own card for persistent infringement. Just randomly banning a fan at the drop of a hat with no warning is BS though. This is the second time I've heard of Rapids fans being "banned for life" but the first time was by overzealous security at the infamous China-Rapids friendly and that "ban" was overturned the next day when somebody from the Rapids called the fan and said not to listen to security.
From Spanish Newspaper... Sports Writing. - With the Honduran goal Victor "Muma" Bernárdez, San Jose Earthquakes at home achieved a spectacular comeback to win 4-3 to Los Angeles Galaxy, MLS champions. At 7 minutes Steven Lenhart opened the scoring for San Jose, but the joy was short lived because they 31 'David Beckham equaled. The rest of the half belonged to the visitors, thanks to goals from Jason Hernandez and Landon Donovan were 3-1. When all seemed lost for the cause of Earthquakes, appeared "Muma" to lead his team's reaction to his goal with his right foot on a corner kick collection at minute 44, a pass from his compatriot Marvin Chavez, also of brilliant performance. At the end of the match, both Hondurans were applauded by the people, who thus rewarded for the sacrifice shown in the field, which has led them to be undisputed holders. After the break, the annotations of Sam Cronin (47 ') and Chris Wondolowski (61') sealed the win epic, in which San Jose remains atop the Western Conference with 33 points. His next match will be Tuesday on the road, against Portland Timbers.
When I was tossed out of DSGP in 2010 (in the 88th minute -- nice timing, jackasses) for using naughty language during the FCD-Rapids match, they took down my name and driver's license number. I laughed it off, of course. I guess it turns out that the Rapids Secret Police have a file on me.
