RBNY / Metro... From the NY Red Bulls Fan Discussion Group on Facebook...now the heartbeat of fanbase interaction on the internet...a closed group by the way... Since most of our group members belong to either the ESC, Viking Army and the GSU (G-Unit), this news is very impressive. Congratulations to the NYRB Front Office, and most of all to each and one of you fantastic supporters! Well done! "The Empire Supporters Club and Viking Army are proud to announce that the 2015 Independent Supporters Council (ISC) Front Office of the Year has been awarded to the New York Red Bulls. Voting took place at the annual ISC meeting held on January 22 and 23 in Chicago. The RBNY FO was recognized for its commitment to working with both home and away supporters at Red Bull Arena. This commitment to excellence has already been recognized by Major League Soccer in recent years. We commend the Front Office for their hard work and dedication to keep Red Bull Arena one of the most supporter friendly stadiums in MLS. The Independent Supporters Council is comprised of various supporters' groups from every level of soccer in the United States and Canada. The ISC was founded in 2010 and allows supporters from around North America to come together to share ideas and experiences, as well as discuss issues that all groups face. If just once Jermaine Jones would accept some responsibility for the predicament he's in, I could have a little respect and/or sympathy. But it's Garbers fault, and Gulatis fault and Krafts fault and FIFAs fault and most of all its just so "unfair". Quit being a whiney bitch. You screwed up.
The Galaxy have the most potential to win this champions league, but adding so many new players will make it a challenge even if they are upgrades. I would never have dreamed that one MLS team would have Keane, Dos Santos, Cole, *De Jong, and Gerrard! It's all because they push the boundaries of MLS's rules. That's what it takes to shove the league towards spending. LAs sponsorships rose into the multi-millions once they decided to spend. The next TV contract will decide the direction of this league, but teams like Seattle, Orlando, NYC, and LA are helping get that major bump in TV revenue.
most potential to win this edition of CCL? based upon what? how well those geriatrics played together without any team chemistry?
Is Jones under the impression that Sunil Gulati and Don Garber are able to overrule FIFA's guidelines for discipline? Is he under the impression that six games was too much? Does he think running his mouth and pissing people off is going to get him a new contract? The guy's delusional.

He is delusional, check out this quote from MNT camp: “I think 2015 was a good year,” Jermaine Jones said. “Jurgen tried to see some new faces and maybe make some players in different positions and try some stuff, and some games got well, some games not, and especially the Gold Cup, I think everybody was not happy with the results. “Now I think 2016, where we started already [World Cup] qualifying, it's more focused. I think Jurgen finds his group and he's focused that we try to come out of the [fourth-round qualifying] group real quick and make it clear that we go to the World Cup.”

So, Nigel De Jong is going to Carson where Stuart Holden is currently working out with the USMNT as a guest of JK. That could be interesting.
The Brazil match was sparsely populated in Boston, the CR match in NY and now this. The novelty of paying through the nose, for friendlies, for an extremely boring, disjointed team has worn off in the major centers. Need to move the games to places where it is all fresh, new and cool to folks....Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte and such. I won't watch this live....I'll do what I have for the last 18 mths. DVR and fly through. The thrill is gone.
He's just JKing.....he has a lot of kids to support and needs to earn. Sucking up to the boss is the way to go. Do folks not understand that JJ was considered a real prick in Germany in quite a few quarters for how he acted on more than one occasion, and also said a lot of stupid things.
