Rossi probably could have done better on the shot that hit the post. The second one that was saved, he did have a defender closing, and it was from an angle with no real time to get set, so that one's a little more forgivable. But a player of his quality, I would have expected at least one of those to go in. Overall, a really good half. The fact that it's still 0-0 makes me nervous because we're facing elimination, but we look much better than we did in game 1.
New York has been trying to get this to PKs from the opening whistle. Just boot and chase and hope one of the Crew's defenders turns the ball over. The amount of time-wasting is ridiculous, they got a warning 11 minutes in and still no card. Crew need to bag a goal out of half and get them out of their comfort zone.
