The Quakes are on fire! Let's hope they keep it up! NEFC, formally known as New England Fútbol Club, a semi-pro in Boston, Massachusetts area. The club was currently plays in the USL League Two.
One of my nephews has children involved in New England FC’s youth programs in the NEFC South region, based in Norton, Massachusetts. That region’s programs also utilize facilities in Mansfield and Taunton to serve a catchment area throughout Southeastern Massachusetts and the South Shore. NEFC has similar regional programs serving exurban / suburban Boston, Northern Rhode Island, the Blackstone Valley, Soutgern New Hampshire, and Maine. They’re a behemoth. I believe the USL 2 club played its home matches at Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s stadium last season, but I’ve heard that they’re moving to a new stadium on the campus of New England Innovation Academy in Marlborough for this coming season.
Honestly, mine was purely a joke. I fully expected to find out this was some club from Liberia or something.
