I am sure that is news to him! Andy, do you remember being in Korea or Japan in the middle of last Summer? Is that why it was so difficult for you to attempt a lot of passes to your Metrostar teammates?

This makes his 15 assists all the more impressive in my book.

    No, we didn't.

Look, say what you want about AW...he's skilled, he's experienced, he's cheap...

...but he's not 'proven'. That's why he's been with 5 MLS teams.

As far as I'm concerned he's just another midfielder we employ. He certainly not our star piece there, nor is he a 'Nowak replacement'.

And it will be a shame (not just to Peter, but to AW himself) if he is given #10. We should hold onto that number till a worthy successor arises, I think.

Don't hold your breath. Zidane looks pretty comfy at Real.

    Heh. :)

    - And in case anyone gets me the wrong way, I never said I didn't support AW. I do. He's a team member and apparently going to be some piece of the team this year (though how much of one remains to be seen). Doesn't mean I don't take issue with his glorification. The fact is he's been on 5 different MLS teams for a reason.

  8. the reason this guy bounces from team to team is because he doesnt play any defense.

And, in the past, he hasn't learned to pass.

And, in the past, he hasn't learned to accept less of a role than as a starter.

And, in the past, he's worked at about 10% of his potential consistently.

And, his salary demands previously have been too high.

But, that's the past. who knows. Maybe it's 5th time lucky.

Indeed. Let's just hold onto that number 10 jersey.

Aren't we? Wasn't there something? Didn't someone say that the number 10 won't be worn this year? I could have sworn someone said that.

    I said that.

And "A Williams" agreed with me.

No, it was in an article. Either Peter Wilt or someone!!!! They mentioned that it would be a season without the 10 jersey. I think it was around the time they announced that "circle of fire" thing, and Nowak would be the first on that.

See my avatar? This is how I feel.
