another possible CB target coming to mls oriol rosell from barca b http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20120710/mundo-barsa/oriol-rosell-se-va-del-barca_54323396025.html
My expectations for him would be so high just because he is from Barca. If he lived up to them then it would be incredible.
He is on trial with KC, as well as Johan Ramirez Neeskens http://www.downthebyline.com/2012/06/transfer-window-set-to-reopen.html
Being a Barca fan I have seen talk of him on their forumns, he kind of stalled out between their A youth team and getting onto the Barca "B's". Think he only played a handful (always as sub) of B games after sitting for the entire first half of season. But figured he has to be decent with ball and was known for his ability in the air (not easy at 5'10")
Geovanny Nazarenno of Barcelona SC also fits the bill of D-mid/CB that Pareja described. Just doing some minimal research it appears Nazarenno is a CB by trade but spent a considerable amount of time this season in the midfield. He's also made a handful of appearances with the Ecaudoran national team. For some reason, his name rings a bell. I don't know why. He may have been linked to MLS before. I'm not sure but his name clicks in my head.
Funny with the success of Martin Rivero, you would think we would be looking/scouting more Argentina players.
I hope the Rapids made the Rivero deal worth Claudio Lopez's time, so that he keeps an eye out for us.
You could just as easily say "With the success of Antonio Valencia at Ecuador you would think we would be looking/scouting more in Ecuador" Now if Rivero was scouted and "discovered" by someone different from whomever scouted Henao, Zapata, or Castrillon, then I would be saying, "we should be looking at their suggestions more than others, but they also could have gotten lucky."
serie b caupello zakuani cb from n power championship ba cb from senegal osbourne or pearce mvoto i dont think they get paid over 500 k all 3 are young fast strong great in the are and cover well.
Where do you get these names from? Are you regularly watching serie b or the league championship, etc? Are these names that have been thrown around as potential transfers with other clubs? I'm just wondering on what basis you are making these recommendations.
Like Spot stated, He is artibuted to Claudio Lopez and he only "scouts" around Argentina (Uruguay is right there so maybe there too)
Man did MLS designate this as a trading day? what are we up to 4 today? 2 weeks until International window closes (July 27)
actually i do watch alot of games well or at-least listen to them. them dudes are in lower leagues with no chances of getting any bigger any one of them coming to this league could change shit drastically
Bravo/ OP would impress me by going and getting Omar Salgado from Vancouver. You would think him expendable with all the forwards there and Mattocks playing like he is. He would give us another offensive guy who can play wing.
luis renteria Striker from panama a possible target ridiculous stats as well(per wiki) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Rentería
based on reports out of panama... mls rumors is reporting him to us http://www.elsiglo.com/mensual/2012/07/13/contenido/536591.asp
He is beast sized, from what I saw at game here. Pair him with Conor and let the header goals commence.
