I'm looking for information regarding summer weight training (12 week-long program). I coach at small college and we don't have a strength and conditioning coach. This will be one part of our entire summer conditioning. I'm looking for a two day/week program.
If you can find a copy of The Vision of A Champion by Anson Dorrance and Gloria Averbuch they have put a summer weight program in Appendix II of the book.
The Student/Athlete Educational Foundation provides basic off season formats thatyou might be able to use. They also can create a package for you in an eight week training cycle if you e-mail the president of the company. This is not advertised on the site and I'm not completely sure of the cost.
