Way to ruin a perfectly good thread.

What's wrong with being a Revs and EFC fan? Being a Revs fan.:p

In ex-Evertonian news: Cars returns to Coventry City

Holding grudges and personal agendas, sounds normal!.

I doubt there will be any more transfers unless someone gets sold

Yeah I doubt we get anyone else too... Unless it's on a free.

In off topic news - hearts everywhere are broken at the news arteta finally married miss spain during the time the team was over in oz (tho I doubt he was married there. They mention 2 weeks off or something in the two doubts for Preston game on official site)

Btw sorry for typos. Only have itouch Internet right now and find it hard to go back when I miss them

News gets to NY slow these days! He left to go to Spain after the 1st Oz game and Cahill was his best man.

I've been very busy. If it didn't include a score or transfer news I had no time to read. Cahill and arteta are so close it's cool to know that without efc and footy they wouldn't have met

Gueye has been named as a Top 20 newcomer to the EPL (ones to watch) due to speed and dribbling ability
Pretty exciting to see what he can do...and all for 1 Million.

Excelled again against Preston. This could be 1 of the signings of the season

Maybe someday you will succumb to Metro fever!! It's infectious.

lol What's the story behind a Brooklynite supporting the Revs?

Bah both of you "Revs" fans should switch over to the Crew Side. We are that massive!

AND...Tim Howard used to play for the CREW...
AND... John McKeown, the strength n conditioning coach came from the CREW
AND... Robert Warzycha is the head coah for the Crew but played for EVERTON '93-95'
AND... Everton's first ever game in North America was Vs the Crew (July 2006)

....should i continue? Come to the dark side!

In other news: The toffees banned the Vuvuzela which will probably be the best move of the transfer season!

This brooklynite moved to amuricah in 96. Just in time for the revolutions first ever mls match. She moved to NYC area only 6 years ago. And once you have a club you don't switch... :)

Howard was and always will be a metro boy here in the us... He is a jersey boy through and through :)

I have a vuvuzella from the mls allstar game2002. I only kept it cos damarcus beasly signed it. Good job to efc for banning them!!!

Also good to see gueye fitting in as we have needed a pacey attacker... Am I right in thinking he can play right wing? Or is my sleepy brain making things up to make me happy lol

ooo That's actually a good story. I'm guessing you lived in the Masshole area before moving to Brooklyn.

No one has a problem with a little off topic posting. There is no point having an off topic thread for so few posters at the moment, there is everton content - discussing history - and no one is flaming or arguing. Also 5 posts versus 5 pages is very different.

Why do you think I made the count down thread instead? So all topics would be covered... People posted here instead. Deal with it, thank you.

If fighting starts up then it will be shut down.

Would you tell me more about gueye and where he can play? Who in league is he similar too? Also beckford is a fwd right? In what vein? Classy like Saha? Sneaky like our own tiny Tim? Mucha I doubt gets a shot... What about that silva guy? Any opinions on him?

Gueye, is currently playing left midfield. Very direct, always looking to take players on, play 1-2s. Perhaps guilty of shooting when a pass is the better option but that will come with experience. Looking a superb bargain buy so far and early contender for buy of the season.
Becks is a classic poacher but with more to his game, took both goals excellently yesterday and made a great all round contribution

I think a new thread was a good idea. That one was a little slow loading when the internet was dragging.

I think a new thread would be a good idea for each transfer period IMO.
