Only 4 games in preseason? Last year, we played 5 in the states before a testimonial.

    Same in 2010.

Thought there was rumors of a game against Juventus in Kolkata, India as well, though I haven't heard much more and Juve is meant to be in USA at the time.

Drawing your attention to that match in Sweden seeing as you're there in August. Maybe you can go if you're there at the right time?

Who knows? I'd love to see a revenue breakdown based on the country for preseason tours.

Looking forward to it, tickets fo on sale tomorrow (for members).
We have an EL quali game 2 days before and the 1st BL game 2 days after, so it won't be the fittest team playing I guess.
Fun fact: We actually made it further than you in last season's EL campaign (which was our first Intl appearance since 1992): Quarter finals against Atletico Madrid, lost both games 1 - 2 (before that we kicked Liege, Bruges, Copenhagen, Poltawa and Sevilla out, now the toughest campaign admittedly).

Zieler and Diouf are two former United players with us, but Diouf won't play due to injury.

Niedersachsenstadion (which is the traditional name of AWD arena) holds 49 000 spectators (45k for int. games with the terrace changed for seating). In the beginning of August there will be the Maschseesfest at the lake next to the stadium (think Oktoberfestish, much smaller obviously and without beer tents, but still with lots of beer and food), so if you fancy a trip it may well be worth it.

Glad Nani and co are getting a rest instead of this tour, with all the travelling it'd be a bit taxing and wouldn't be beneficial for our season start. Hopefully he gets his contract sorted out before SAF and co. leave

A lot of young players. And Bebe!

We might have a slow start to the season given how many first teamers are missing the tour.

A bit disappointed we're dragging Berba out here. He went off on his Facebook again today saying he needs to leave, also saying the club is looking for 10 million but telling him they'll let him leave for 5. As a club, we should just cut him loose.

Instead of collecting some fee and sparing his wages, we're going to give him maybe 10 appearances, pay a year of wages, and get no fee. Idiotic.

Evans too....they're saying on twitter he had some op maybe this summer, that's why he's missing.

This is more a reserves preseason tour. Maybe some more guys join up as they move past these first three?
