I'd rather it be a loan with regular playing time. He was pretty disappointing last year, so I'd like to see him get regular playing time to see if he wasn't more than just a one season wonder.
I certainly worry about Kulu being incredibly left footed. Then again, Robben was ridiculously left footed and that worked out for him. Kulu is still only 21, so time is on his hands but that 40m we paid is a heaby burden.
His position is still TBD. He does not have the acceleration of a winger or possession ability of an attacking mid or CM. Robben's acceleration and speed are much more than Kulu. Kulu also looks uncomfortable playing off a striker in a partnership.
Inter, Milan, Lazio all have better starting midfielders than Juve unless this area drastically improves. I doubt Pjanic or Witsel changes this. The reality is Juve are in a tough spot. They need to survive this year by making top 4 however they can and steadily rebuild. Any panic buys unless loans would only hurt this team in the future if these are aging players on long high salaries.
This! They should take a long look at Ajax's Gravenberch. He's only 19 and started play first team football at the age of 17. He has the potential to be in Pogba's league but his acceleration is faster. I think he will leave Ajax next summer (unfortunately for us). The way the CL is structure these days, Juve just need to focus on a top four finish and really need to buy young players and build for the future. Any other approach is just sticking band-aids on an ailing old lady.
The other thing we need is to rediscover Juve DNA and grinta. i don't see much of it in the current squad sans the old guard which won't be here in 2 years time. Transplant is needed pronto.

The team needs to stick with the young talent and let them play together for a while. Without a midfield this team is not gonna finish top 4….let alone mid table.
Interesting article. https://www.espn.com/soccer/soccer-...les-in-last-decadereaches-$485bn-overall-fifa Further solidifies on various clubs wanting the super league.
I'm surprised that Juve didn't come after Ajax keeper Onana who is finishing up a doping suspension. He's better than Szcseny and can be had on the cheap as he is in the last year of his contract. He can start training next week and is eligible to play in mid-November. He's only 25 years old.

Thank god Ronaldo has gone. Now we can start to move forward again as a team. There is no doubt that the pandemic and his astronomical wages had held our club back for 2 years. I know this is a bit of a late post but just wanted to share my thoughts
The problem is that now the rest of the squad is much worse than when he arrived to the point where they need someone like him to win games.
