Role players, and been interviewed is part of the roles. As they introduced themselves one is playing with Messi, and two others are playing with Chelsea. The next question "What will you tell each other before stepping on the field tomorrow?"
Arguably also the three best prospects (or very close to it). Should they interview Mihailovic and Dietz instead? Question: What do you think of your senior team future? Answer: Uh, we have none.
On both sides of the argument, it's the Today show. It's more like "How excited are you to be here?" I think the kids are great in this respect. Much more fun.
It's Today, it doesn't matter who we send it's not like they're going to ask any interesting questions... makes sense to send three non-starters who can talk about how happy they are to be there Futbol Americas interviewed Walker Zimmerman, which made sense because they could for example ask him about the Canadian team scandal as he's played against them And here's Tessmann which also makes sense as he's a "football guy"
Those Millennials are good at strategizing "This is the most millennial thing I've ever seen." Griffin Yow offers insight into USMNT teammate Walker Zimmerman and the knowledge the experienced defender has over the younger squad members 😅🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/zDhGe547zf— Golazo America (@GolazoAmerica) August 1, 2024
I would Rathered have Bucios Would you rather have seen this 2024 US Olympic squad at the Copa America this summer? 👀🇺🇸 pic.twitter.com/wsYeGHKqQs— Alexi Lalas' State of the Union Podcast (@SOTUWithAlexi) August 1, 2024
I feel that somehow these kids are better than our experts, at least they have no ties and give their honest opinions
I have been pushing these kids for a few months now... not saying they always get it right but still refreshing to have some new voices out there. Well you mentioned the song Alec Eiffel... the Pixies song Debaser is very obviously (as it's literally the chorus) about Un Chien Andalou one of the seminal works of surrealist cinema created by Luis Bunuel and Salvador Dali... The leader of the surrealists Andre Breton created a magazine Counterattack where intellectuals could publish anti-fascist (or "antifa") essays... Bunuel's views are pretty clear based on his filmography... Dali literally called surrealism "anti-Christian" (although it should be noted that a decade later he would be expelled from the surrealists for supporting fascist dictator Franco)... the duo's sequel the very next year sparked violent reactions, with a right wing Spanish paper calling it "the most repulsive corruption of our age" ... high praise... pretty sure they would have loved the opening ceremony you called "a full-blown anti-Christian hate-bigot parade" and would probably have considered it to be the only one ever that was even slightly interesting... So I posted a screenshot of the scene from Un Chien Andalou with the two priests... what's the NOT anti-Christian interpretation here? As for what the Pixies make of it, as they say in the song, "wanna grow up to be, be a Debaser" There's a pretty clear through line between the moral panic in 1929 and 2024... not coincidentally both periods with fascism on the rise globally 26 seconds of genuinely brilliant direction pic.twitter.com/d0axTUYxoe— Jarett Wieselman (@JarettSays) July 26, 2024 But back on topic... sports... I loooove the Dallas Cowboys
I spent time today in Paris speaking with U.S. #OlyMNT winger Griffin Yow about the remarkable steps he's taken in his career over the the past year, his tournament, staying ground, and what an Olympic run means for the program. My latest for ASNhttps://t.co/wQkQLRmOWW— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) August 2, 2024 And for @SoccerAmerica, I spoke with #OlyMNT winger Kevin Paredes on his big effort against Guinea, the Olympics, the team, and a very tough Morocco team that awaits on Friday. https://t.co/czDVu4af2u— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) August 2, 2024
bshredder getting the best interviews with the best questions. How come you didn't ask what kind of tree they wanted to be?
I’ll wait to see if the moderators allow the anti-religious and now obviously far left political advocacy stuff to continue before I chime in.
