3 months, and almost 2 weeks left. Be sure that we will be entertained. BTW ManU is apparently fighting back to keep Pogba. And Spurs are pushing hard to get Ndombele with some french saying Spurs are actually the closest to sign him right now.
Guerra fría entre el Real Madrid y el Eintracht por Luka Jovic https://t.co/I8P45gEq1J— Libertad Digital (@libertaddigital) May 21, 2019 Crappy source but it suggests that we haven't completely said no to Jovic, but that it's a complicated negotiation. We want him around 60-70 million. We probably want Jovic to put pressure. It says the player definitely wants Real. Perhaps the Jugones report from earlier was what Perez wants them to say.
A shoutout to my wife, fam and friends! Oh and I want Neymar, Hazard, Mbappe up front with Pogba, Eriksen and Casemiro in midfield.. Alaba for Marcelo and another World class CB Keep Navas. Do it Flo.
That's 100% sure. But from the french sources since he talked, MBappe is not the ideal kid he was 3 years ago anymore, and he assumes what he wants. 1/ He wants to be the best. 2/ It includes being not attached to clubs or teammates. 3/ It means he wants very high wages. 4/ He will make his career moves based mostly on what benefit him. 5/ He's interested in being listened to even about other transfers. What french mean is that if people here think MBappe will be ours, and STFU whatever the f*ck can happen, they are wrong. He's turning like CR7 while only being 20. What he does at PSG, he will do the same with us if we fail to win, and or if another giant try to lure him. Some french trash him, but some others think it is normal for an abnormal player like him. He wants to beat every records, plain and simple. -- Now do I agree with this? I don't know but sure MBappe turned really selfish so be ready for that. And while some will pest that it is bad news (that he's becoming more, and more egoistic), I think a player can't become the best if he is not like that. tl;dr we will get him sooner than later, but don't expect him to be one dying for our shirt in any situation. He will stay here forever if we win, and pay him what he wants.
Perez said a few months ago, why buy a CF when we have the best CF in the world... Talk about deluded....
He's already bigger than PSG btw. PSG is a very small institution. Lots of things that happened to them don't happen in what are considered world class clubs. That's what is killing their club atm actually.
Mijatovic was the best player in real madrid 97-98, ended second in ballon d'or 97. Modric is the first midfielder to win a golden ball with Real Madrid jersey. It is not possible to win a trophy alone but they have been very important in Real Madrid success when they were not expected to reach such level before their signings.
If they're smart and the sell this summer, if Jovic has an average season next year his value goes done considerably. It's foolish to wait.
Talking about Ballon d'Or. Mbappe joined PSG because they promised him 100% playtime, but: 1/ If he had joined us, it would have taken him 2 weeks to get a starter spot 100%. 2/ He would have been Ballon d'Or already with a WC+CL trophies.
Some are fools. Remember Milinkovic-Savic. His club wanted 100ME when PSG offered, amongs others, 75ME, and didn't budge. Now he is worth 50ME imo.
Well it remains an if... PSG with both Neymar and Mbappe didn't do better than PSG with Zlatan in 2 years.
A very small "if" then. I'm sure he would already be a legend in Madrid if he had joined Real Madrid instead of PSG.
That's the point, having something of value doesn't make 1 plus 1 equal 4. I'm more concerned about our clubs perception of Benzema and the need for an alternative though. I'm just not sure we're serious and add the mbappe rumors and it's plausible we're off chasing something shiny while someone else eats our fish....
He should have signed for Real madrid for sure. At PSG he is waisting time and didn't improve he is exactly the same player that he was when at Monaco. Same strengths same weaknesses.
That's possible. Todays news about Jovic could be from spanish medias throwing "reasons" on why we are stopping chasing him because we are scared to spend too much while we are not sure if MBappe could be available or not. People say we have all the money we need, but no, we can't spend 400ME, then 300ME on mbappe if he magically is on the market later this summer. I think the MBappe news have an effect on what we are planning to do.
Raphaël Varane va rester au Real Madrid https://t.co/TsZ5vr5pqn pic.twitter.com/sj3l9tVcOi— L'ÉQUIPE (@lequipe) May 21, 2019 Varane will stay at Real Madrid
Part of why I’m excited about the Militao signing, apart from the fact that the Brazilian genuinely looks a good player and good fit for us, is that it will hopefully light a fire under this sleeping giants ass. He needs it.
Before thinking about a duel with Varane, people should stop taking for granted that Militao will be great here for sure. If it turns like the Danilo transfer (in which many people had too high expectations), people will rage - again - about something that was not promised to them in any ways.
From what was said on LEquipeTV yesterday, even if we buy MBappe, Zidane apparently don't plan to dump Benzema.
Danilo’s problem at Real Madrid wasn’t the expectations, it was because he was an absolute catastrophy. Nacho has been terrible this year, Vallejo has been injured for the majority of the season. I’m very confident Militao will be a significant upgrade to those two.
