I highly disagree Back then we didn't have guys like Bacca, Donnarumma and Romagnoli We had a much more inexperienced version of Niang, Bojan, Pazzini and an in-form El Shaarawy for half a season It's easy to say bullshit in hindsight...the reality is we had Mexes as starter We also had guys like Nocerino and Muntari while now we have Kucka and Bonaventura People forget just how much the Senatores retiring and G not replacing them with proper players hurt the team
It just goes to show that players like Cafu, Kaka and Dida (in his prime) are once in a lifetime generational talents. Milan should have gotten Ronaldinho before he went to Barca - at that time Milan had enough brand recognition and respect from Brazilian players to sway Ronaldinho in their direction. Imagine what history would look like now had that happened?
It would have been nice to watch him and Kaká together. It probably would have been a whole lot more beneficial to the Brazilian national team. Anyways, it's just a little depressing that Inter Milan can sign someone like Gabigol whereas I know Milan has no chance to sign someone like that. I still think Serie A does a good job at developing South American talent and would like even more reason to tune in to Milan games if they had a Brazilian talent on their team like they had in the past.
TBH, considering how awful Jorginho and Koulibaly were under Benitez, I'm willing to give Rafael a pass as long as he stays 3rd choice lol
You guys charge too much now. Back then Kaka was €6mill. I know prices have gone up, but your neighbors are still selling potential talents for less. #dropthepricetagbrazil And we need another Silva.
While there is definitely truth about the price tag, part of the reason we charge more is because the league is the best in South America. How much was Silva bought for? That's more in line with the type of purchase I think Milan should make. But then again, it seems like Milan has neglected South America as far as scouting. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't recall any players coming from South America to Milan for 2-3 years until this most recent window (Gomez).
Well how about you produce players that don't suck?(I mean we already have a shitty brazilian player in Luiz Adriano) The new generation is such shite I miss players like Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Cafu, Serginho etc.
No shit Though tbf on Ely Miha didn't trust him after that red card vs Fiorentina It wouldn't surprise me if Ely became another Sokratis when he leaves Milan
let's be real here. milan haven't paid real money for anyone over the last few years, except last summer when we got bacca, berto, and romagnoli. "maybe the chinese sent the check to the wrong address?"
Bertolacci is going to come to fruition, he's just taking his sweet time. The talent is there. The form isn't yet tho
Adriano Galliani announced “Milan’s transfer market is closed." Good ol G, pretending as if it were ever open. Mods, close thread.
