We already have young central midfielders in Khedira and Sahin, both of whom deserve time to prove themselves, but Strootman is an interesting one to keep an eye on for the future. PSV only got him in the summer and I doubt he's on the market, but he looks like a complete midfielder.
Not saying it's untrue, but where did you get that from? I can't find anything about it in the Dutch media. Strootman is very overrated by the way. He can't even excel in a team like PSV where they "should" dominate every team in the league except for the big ones. I've also heard he was the one doing the racial abusing at the open training of the Dutch team.
I was planning on going if our country made it. Makes me rethink going to such places. Heres to 2014, though. I haven't been up to date, but what's the situation with Higuain? Is the Spanish media recycling this story still?
Any chance Gago goes to a team like Arsenal? I like Gago although I don't think he is good enough for our team but I do think he would fit well and get minutes there.
First time I've heard of this so maybe I missed it when it was initially discussed. Do you have a link to the story by any chance?
Read it on Marca, they say they got it from La Gazzetta dello Sport http://www.marca.com/2012/06/07/en/football/real_madrid/1339088784.html
Marca...hmmmm...would love for it to be true though. We need to wash our hands with this one or else the stories about him heroically solving our CM issue will continue.
Travelling for work... saw a tweet: "Poland head coach reveals his right back will join Real Madrid" Haven't seen this elsewhere. Anyone see something on this? Maybe something was lost in translation??!
“'Lewy' [Lewandowski] is going to Manchester United, Kuba [Blaszczykowski] also somewhere in England, [Lukasz] Piszczek to Real [Madrid]." http://www.goal.com/en/news/1862/pr...going-to-manchester-united-claims-poland-boss
So I guess if this is ture, then its official? Well Ive seen him a couple of times and I like what I saw, definatly better then Arbeloa. BUT then again, he could just be playing a game...like telling the world that he indeed has wc players and they should respect his team. Instead of just saying they maybe could play there someday, he said they ARE going to play there.
"In my opinion, in a moment they will be gone from Borussia," Smuda said. "'Lewy' is going to Manchester United, Kuba also somewhere in England, Piszczek to Real (Madrid)." and just for kicks he offered this gem: "It's better to have bunga bunga than to abuse alcohol," Smuda was quoted as saying by Polish daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna. "Alcohol just blows my fuse." http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/08062012/2/euro-poland-smuda-tolerate-bunga-bunga-booze.html
Marca ( I know I know ) is saying that we are considering Fellaini. I must admit I wouldn't mind it one bit if the price is right.
Poland's coach has a bit of a personal feud with Klopp going on which is why he linked their players with other clubs to spite him as if they are to good for Dortmund. I'm pretty sure we're not going to spend over 20 million Euro on Piszeck.
Fellaini and Piszceck would be welcome additions if the price is right imo.. both will offer something to the team.
http://www.mundodeportivo.com/20120...lemania-real-madrid-mourinho_54309135005.html Well it s not a suprise to be linked to europe's brigthest talent. i rate him higher than hazard neymar and eriksen. but hell cost a fortune and we have özil who plays in a similar position. but he s a uncle flo signing through and through
Definitely not happening. He just extended his contract and earns already as much as he'd earn for us. Besides that, i don't see any Spanish club signing a 40 million player this summer.
