Although I admit seeing an Israeli at Barca would be really cool (hopefully Assulin can do it), but this would be a bad move.[/QUOTE]

ye, i heard they want asulin to play on barca bogrim next year!!
it amazes me how we have so much talent e.i. ben sahar, gay asulin ,barda, benayoun and we stilll never go anywhere in terms of our soccer nationally and even in our own league back home.

Ben Dayan will move. Netanya fans can't stand him after what he said...
Its not for sure yet about Ben Sahar, some rumours indicate that Dortmund and Ajax are willing to pay more to have him. So I guess we will see some development next week.

This will only be a good move for Ben if he gets lots of playing time and is the first or second choice striker. This could really set up a good platform for him to perform in the best leagues in the world against the best players.

Ben Shahar is going to a great leauge where he can perform well....

This has never been given to any Israeli Player before to be under 20 and play in the most lucrative leauge.

Im just thinking how old Benayoun was when he signed with Racing...which IMO were very mediocre team to start with.....22? 23? was it 03 or 04 season?

anywho....Espanyol is a team that can really be good.. they play on Mount Juic..i seen the stadium..looks more or less like Israel's National Stadium, but more up to date...
Dont know if the name Mt. Juic is good...in Spanish it means Jewish Mountain or Mount Jupiter....ask the Spaniards this one..

No, Omer Peretz is on trial at Charleroi. Liran Cohen was previously on trial at Westerlo.

Salim Toama has agreed to a three year contract with Larissa in Greece so it looks like we have two players representing us in Greece this year.
