We can build one hell of a good team with these players, I'm not sure about the volantes though, casemiro is the only one I've watched. Never watched any of the GKs either, I guess Rafael (20 years old) wasn't called because that would really screw us. I doubt that we will be able to call Coutinho. --------------------GK--------------------- Galhardo------Bruno-----Juan----Alex Sandro ------------------Casemiro------------------- -----Alan Patrick----Oscar---------Lucas------ ----------Lucas Gaúcho----Neymar------------ A bit over offensive, but that's because I don't know the DMFs, and we have an abundance of great AMFs.
Final 20 man: Goleiros: 1 - Gabriel (Cruzeiro) 12 - Aleksander (Avaí) Laterais: 2 - Danilo (Santos) 13 - Rafael Galhardo (Flamengo) 6 - Alex Sandro (Santos) 15 - Gabriel Silva (Palmeiras) Zagueiros: 3 - Bruno Uvini (São Paulo) 4 - Juan (Internacional) 19 - Saimon (Grêmio) 14 - Romário (Internacional) Volantes: 5 - Casemiro (São Paulo) 8 - Zé Eduardo (Parma) 16 - Fernando (Grêmio) Apoiadores: 10 - Lucas (São Paulo) 11 - Oscar (Internacional) 17 - Alan Patrick (Santos) Atacantes: 7 - Neymar (Santos) 9 - Henrique (Vitória) 18 - Diego Maurício (Flamengo) 20 - Willian (Prudente)
I'm surprised that Lucas Gaúcho got cut, he is a very good targetman IMO. Maybe it's because São Paulo will need him, with their lack of strikers.
I think we'll see something like ------------------------Gabriel------------------------ -Galhardo--------Juan--------Bruno-------Alex Sandro- ------------------------------------------------------ ----------------Casemiro------------------------------ ---------------------------Fernando------------------- -------------------Alan Patrick\Oscar------------------ -----------Lucas---------------------------Neymar---- ------------------Diego Maurício-----------------------
4 goals for Neymar he's carving them up Casemiro playnig fantastic on the defensive midfield.. a joy to watch aswell.
Yup I agree.. he was so nervus and kept kicking the ball up field instead of keeping it cool and starting the attack from Ze Eduardo or Casemiro. Henrique was also kinda invisible, Oscar was dissapointing too. Juan looked so solid and calm in the back... Lucas was great first half, but in the 2nd he cooled down, and Alex Sandro was his usuall amazing-self although he didn't do too much in this one, but whenever he went forward great things happened, and he defended his flank great. 2 reds in the end, game really heated up, lucky no injury or anything.. hopefully Fernando and Diego Mauricio are the ones replacing the guys who were sent off... the ref was a real prick letting these guys continue with the cheap shots, he couldve stopped it way before if he blew his whistle. Overall great display from Neymar.. sharp and deadly, but also arrogant and cocky with his attitude.
As a santista I'm happy that Neymar played so well, but as a team we were mediocre. Oscar did absolutely nothing (oter than losing a few balls in the middle), Lucas started well but held the ball too much in the rest of the match, Henrique and Ze Eduardo's red cards were very childish (Neymar's yellow too, what was he thinking when he held the ball like that...? Most likely he thought that he had won the foul) and overall the team was very nervous. Typical debut performance, let's take some chill pills and fix what's wrong. Highlight: Well it couldn't be anyone other than Neymar, heh? Casemiro played really well too and I believe that Galhardo will earn Danilo's spot sooner or later... We see him play every match, Danilo has very good physical attributes but his technique is kinda dull, specially if you compare it with Galhardo's beautiful long pass for Neymar's 4th (what a golaço!). P.S.: Thank God that Neymar is quite durable... If this match is an example of what's to come he will be back at Santos with quite a few bruises...if he is lucky.
Well the game is over now, but it was aired @ SporTV and Bandeirantes here in São Paulo. Vid: http://esportes.terra.com.br/futebo...jogo+faz+gol+de+placa+e+encanta+peruanos.html
I personally liked what I saw from Lucas, he was a little hesitant on one chance in the first half and should have scored, but the freekick right at the end of the half was brilliant and only a top class save kept it out.
what are you talking about??? He was completely right about Neymar, and Neymar grew a LOT in maturity since those episodes. we WERE creating monsters. The criticism WAS valid.
I hated Lucas. Everytime I cursed a player for losing the ball for distraction or holding too much, I soon realized it was Lucas!
I agree that he deserved the criticism and that made him grow a lot but the problem is HOW he was criticized. To call a 17~18 years old kid a MONSTER, live on TV for everyone to see... Sorry , can we call that ethical, or even fair? God knows how much stick Neymar has been getting those months. Treated like a criminal, because he made a poor choice in a game? Even if he was the most arrogant person in the world he wouldn't deserve that. Bruno supposedly killed a person , and he doesn't get such a harsh treatment by the media. But Neymar? He offended his coach. Preposterous. DISGRACE. BURN HIM!!! And he still is treated unfairly by a lot of journalists. Cowards, all of them, it's easy to launch personal attacks behind the shield of "freedom of speech". Freedom to attack. Freedom to calumniate. Freedom to almost destroy the life of a kid, by inciting the hatred of millions of people. All is fair to sell more newspapers/get more page views. And HE is the mercenary, huh?
highlights - enjoy! [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uwka0c87bTs"]YouTube - Brazil U20 - Paraguay U20 4-2 Highlights and Goals[/ame]
Neymar four goals!!!!))) Just one remark, a little too selfish on the second goal should have passed Henrique, but hey, he scored in a great shot instead, lucky for him Last goal was so cool and classy. I also agree that the criticism of Neymar has been in a too bad manner, but he sure is a monster of a player but believe it o not a human too. Willian can be an interesting option for Henrique too, adding more power and target player type to complement.
Henrique is a player that is dissapointing me deeply since he was promoted to the professionals. Two years ago (IIRC) he made an outrageous copinha, the guy was a demon scoring three goals per match. IIRC it was in the same year that Oscar "appeared", still in São Paulo's ranks. I hope that the can adapt better in the future.
