LOL hihi I have to admit I completely forgot about your spat with Archildo in the past over 'literaturely' matters. I very rarely keep tabs on individual members except for the truly retarded ones. Obviously not all of the dick-Suking in this thread was tongue-in-cheek but still I think a lot of it was. I don't really understand your anger over such things. And yes, there are more proven options than Suk that should have been given a shot in place of AJH. Yoo Byung-soo being the name tossed out more often than not. If we were going to value a youngster making a big splash in Europe I would think Son Heung-min would get the nod over Suk. Mind sharing where you are watching the match? Thanks for the link BTV! http://www.firstrow.net/
Suk Hyun-jun admitted himself that he's not a traditional #9. He even prefers playing out wide than sitting in center to hold the ball and provide post-play. http://news.nate.com/view/20100608n12488
When he does go wide in this game, he looks far more comfortable I have to say but he's been terrible. I think he has decent abilities but tactically and when it comes to footballing acumen, he's got some catching up to do. With that said, Suarez just committed a terrible tackle and was red-carded.
Suarez sent off after receiving his second yellow for a horrible challenge. Suk had a couple nice touches but Ajax's offense was struggling as a whole. so far, hes not taking advantage of this great opportunity to impress Jol and supporters.
There's not doubt he's a talented player but character-wise, I get the feeling he's a bit rough around the edges. He seemed frustrated with Suk -- as if he kept asking him to stay further up the pitch.
Man such extremes. People need to calm down and realize he is still a kid... whether he is amazing or horrible. There will be ups and downs the next couple years.
^ indeed. starting for ajax @ 19 playing his 1st "real game". lets give him some time and hopefully he'll be a good player.
His highlights in the match: http://dreamice.egloos.com/1669994 Centre forward is a pretty demanding position. You need to be able position yourself in key areas and connect with all your teammates. Scoring goals are the easy part (for most players anyways). Watching his plays, I can only guess that he used his brute strength to overwhelm defenders in the amateur level. This isn't going to cut it at this level and he will need to polish the obviously exhisting skills, but are still very raw.
