I am currently employed in the hospitality business and one of my favorite things about the job is having my guests feel more at home than at a hotel. I try to give them a vaca feeling, even when they are in town for business.
My property is the most popular in town so we fill up quite often and a lot of times we have guests stay with us up for 2 to 6 weeks at a time. That adds up to a lot of time outside of their own home, away from the family and friends, and in an area that they don't know as well. So I want to improve their stay with a kind gesture.
I want to give my guests things that they may like or help them during their stay. I'm having a bit of a block and can't come up with any thing to give.
Post some suggestions and if there are any ideas, I'd love to hear them. You never know, you may see your own idea employed in another hotel that you're staying at later down the road.

    Thank you & Cheers.

I thought this thread would be about how to get my brother in law to go home!

If you have a family with young children staying, find out what kinds of cereal the kids prefer, and put some of the cereal, dry or soggy, in the parent's bed. That will give them a home-like feeling.

Maybe you could tell us where this property is located...
