Just trying to organize some signs for our section. I saw this on another thread, but if there is any planning going on for having a huge banner that says 5-2 would be great. I could try to get a big banner for our section, but if we cant what we can do is individually have a sign that says 5-2. If there are any other suggestions, don’t hold back, we have to show Chicago and LA what were made of when it comes to final time.
"SJ 5 - LA 2", Just because there will be so many LA fans there rooting for Fire. Plus I'm Sure the Ultras will bring the "LA SUX" banners, which has been at nearly every home match this season, because as we all know LA sucks, even when they are not one of the teams playing.
Other than all of us wearing blue, we have to show that we are unified in some other way by using either sings or banners. If we cant get a "we must believe" banner we could just have everyone bring there own sign that says it, or something that would be similar to everyone in that section. Dont forget to bring your rally towel.
Maybe something to the about the southern california fires. "The last fire to extinguish" or "No more hot spots". I can't think of anything else.
I brought this idea up in the travel discussion too and love it. The only thing I would do is keep it 5-2. It's just like how the Milan fans have a giant banner that reads 0-6 for the derby win over Inter a few years ago. No need to remind them that we were the 5 -- they know
I was going to have a jersey made up with Never Give Up and 5-2 as the number. Maybe that would be a good rallying sign.
Nah, that would go to the Miami Fusion or the Los Angeles Galaxy before they won last year. If it gets to be a long span between winning then I'll think that's the case.
Do we have all the flags of the countries represented on our roster accounted for? I can account for the Kingdom of Hawaii (so my mama knows where I am)...who's bringing Denmark, Canada, and Brazil? And to stretch things, how about Switzerland?

I think everyone bringing a sign that says "WE BELIEVE" is a great idea. I also like the idea of "THE LAST FIRE TO EXTINGUISH" That's a good one. The more the merrier! I'll steal that extinguish fire one...if you don't mind! I was queen of the signs at the KC game, I had giant red and yellow cards, and a sign which I made for after the game that said "First L.A....Now K.C...."

I read in another thread that they won't let you tape up signs at the HDC, so anything you bring, you've gotta hold. Just thought I'd toss that in. People are bringing the BAQF, right?
The only time the Cup in 2001 was 1-0 was when the Galaxy were winning. So I don't think that will work.
I know it's fun to gloat at the Galaxy fans, but the Galaxy won't be there, so I think signs focused on the Quakes and the Fire are the best.
Agreed. I'd like to keep focused on the game at hand. Not rivalries with other games. And, remember, the Galaxy aren't in it, so their fans have all the time in the world to distract us from the game. That happened in 2001. So I also think we should focus on this game. It's gonna be intense enough as it is.
Rubbing it Galaxys face would be nice. But i think you guys are right. We shouldnt loose our focus on Chicago. And the "burning the last fire" is a good idea, but lets just hope we wont affend anyone who was involved in the fires.
