I have heard on really good authority that Neven Subotic will be leaving Mainz for the EPL in the summer. The agreed fee is 3m euros. There is no problem with the work permit as Neven is to marry his German fiancee in May. I am trying to find out which club but as he has an english agent- who will be at the Mainz game on Sunday- I am hoping that my friend will get hold of the name of the club. Not sure how this fits with his US Nats team situation but apparently his girlfriend has German/Serbian roots. I am sure you will hear more about this.
He's never going to be eligible to play for Germany, because he was capped at a youth level for the Nats before he was eligible for them, but it worries me that maybe he and his wife start a nice little German-Serbian family, with no American in it.
Dude he's american......it'd be an american-serbian family. Ive had enough of americans in the EPL. I wish some of players played in other top leagues. It even makes more more had because most of players are in the bottom half when it comes to the EPL.
I am not sure where you are getting this from, but according to this interview http://www.bild.de/BILD/sport/fussb...inz-subotic/klopp-aufsteiger,geo=3312260.html he has been single since early December.
Hard to recall the last time any Premiership club bought anyone from the Bundesliga-2. Particularly if Mainz promotes, I'd guess he's there for at least another year. But if he's bought, I'd guess he'd be more likely to end up at a mid-table Bundesliga club.
I don't see what the point in providing a link would be. http://esporter.blogspot.com/bullshitstoryaboutsubotic.htm Would that really make the post more legit in your eyes? (Note: For all I know the story is true. I'm just trying to make a point about the constant demand for links to substantiate rumors.)
