Neven's scored in this one; looks like it came from a scrum after a corner, and went through the keeper.

    1-1 in the second half.

Any chance in hell we'll see this guy with the Nats? Against Poland maybe?

I bet he gets another invite. Question is whether he accepts.

If he's interested in playing for the USMNT then Bob should call him up ASAP maybe against Norway, Carew vs Subotic!

Well, Neven did score, but I'm pretty sure he won't be putting it on any highlight films. :)

Off the corner, Neven and the Koblenz player both went up for it while being simutaneously tangled up fighting each other. Neven stuck out his boot awkwardly, (actually it was a good play for him to get to it at all), redirected it towards goal (looked like he was just trying to knock it into traffic, since he couldn't get any power on it), and it went, literally, right through the keeper's hands. There was a really low sun angle right in the keeper's eyes and it looked like he was gesturing afterwards that he lost it in the sun.

But otherwise, Neven played very well. He was the organizer in the back, due to Noveski sitting out a yellow card accumulation. Held the line, even made a couple nice runs forward, and as stated got the goal. He's been awesome for us so far this year, it's completely unreal that he's so young... he plays like he's been in the team for years and years.

Not Neven, but I'm pretty sure we will see this goal on several highlight tapes with the worst goalie mistakes...

Bob has done that, Neven wants to focus on Mainz.

If he were two years older he'd be making me a lot less nervous, if he gets capped by the senior side does the 21 y/o rule still apply?

It's a little murkey, but after following the Freddy saga, it looks like the answer is yes, unless we play him in the Gold Cup, a WC Qualifier or the Confed Cup.

Neven gets a "3" and is now at "3.25" for the season.
