Great, now with the Freedom winning the championship, we can expect an influx of immigrants flooding into the DC area increasing the existing traffic crisis. Perhaps, the DC, MD and VA governments need to get involved before this crisis gets out of hand. DC has a pending financial liability. Can you imagine how they're going to address the sold-out RFK crowds? Let alone the pending parking problem. I surmise DC Sports and Entertainment will promptly tear down the Grand Prix (aka the white elephant) and pave over the Anacostia River for additional parking whilst building a third deck (to satisfy the burgeoning ticket demand) and having not only sufficient people to stand at each row in the lower deck but at the concession stands to prevent 30 minute waits for a delicious "jumbo hot dog". Spurred on by DC's innovative thinking, MD and VA build the "beltway alternative". Typical MD and VA cooperation stymies the effort, MD decides to build the outer beltway while VA builds an express beltway on top of the existing beltway. However, they both agree to save money by not building ramps which saves on maintenance too! So welcome to DC - see what you started!
Well it's been several weeks since the team won FC3 and so far nothing has changed with our subheader. Hey Freestyle...and I am not speaking for everybody here but SOMETHING needs to reflect that they are champs....what about just making it simple for now and we can rehash the subheader debate once we see a change...but for now can we just get it changed to.... 2003 WUSA Champions Thanks!
Uh i know this is probably redundant but.... who knows how much longer the team boards will be up. I for one would like to see the sub header reflect our team's achievement if only for a little while. We have The Cup.... and you don't.-- my vote
