Should we divide the Ecuador forum into the following subforums, similar to many other forums on BigSoccer? Ecuador: Clubs Ecuador: National Team Ecuador: Players Abroad Ecuador: Off-Topic This has been brought up before and generated mixed reaction. I think the pros and cons are pretty clear, and we've reached the number of users and active posts that we should reconsider. Please vote!
I'm down for sub forums. It takes a few more seconds to visit the forums that interest you but 15 added seconds aint gonna kill anybody.
I think the positive side is that it makes it easier to find a forum that is relevant. For instance I wanted to post in the Felipe Caicedo thread the other day but I had to go 3 pages in to find it.
Sounds good. But the main Ecuador forum + four subforums = 5 forums. What kind of threads are we going to have in the main, top-level forum? This is my suggestion: Ecuador -- NT, everything else Ecuador Clubs -- all the club threads Ecuadorians Abroad -- all the player threads Additionally, we can have a NSR forum that will be hidden from the public (i.e., you have to be signed in to access it.) That's the only way we can bring back the Ecua Girls thread.
Yes subforums sounds like a good idea mang, but just don't overdo it like some of the other countries. One of the things I liked about this forum is it takes realatively less time to post I hate having to search for the right forum and click like 15 links before I get to where I want to be.
you can do a FORUM SEARCH for key word 'felipe' or 'caicedo' me gustan los subforums....hacen crecer el foro y lo ordenan mas para el disfrute de los visitantes o lurkers que solo leen de vez en cuando.... News forum and non soccer related, before clubs?
I like the idea very much. I think it can be executed well and it'll be a huge success. It'll help organize all us contributors.

creo que hay que ser mas especifico en cual subforum debe de regresar primero: NEWS or ecuatorianos en el Exterior? seria mas facil la migracion de temas y armar el subforum
